Touchscreen is shit in a car.. Merc, BMW and Audi have got the right formula with control wheels.

tbh, I don't want to extend my hand while I'm driving. It's almost distracting, whereas with a trackpad, you're relaxed without having to reach for places.

Tom Chan Genius would have been for MB engineers to design glass, or a coating thereon, that doesn't leave fingerprints or the oils therefrom. Genius isn't to leave something out because there is an aesthetic fault in a product. Genius is to find solution to problems where others cannot.

This is why Macbooks aren't touchscreens. Drives me nuts to see fingerprints on that thing.
The E-coupe is my dream car. I really do plan on getting one someday soon. I know many Merc spokesmen say no E63 coupe is in the works, but that would be a dream come true.

No touch screen! Well, it is a well thought out decision to keep it out.
1) safety; it takes eye and hand coordination to operate a touch screen, that is distracting while driving therefore dangerous.
2) avoid the awful fingerprints on the screen.
this car is really awesome, more affordable by most drivers than the more expensive s coupe.. tq bro.
has anyone seen the e 300 coupe with the multi contour seats in saddle brown? is the back of the saddle brown seats black as i saw a sedan today that was black from the back.
a video of the massage seats in the coupe in saddle brown would be awesome

I think it's right of Mercedes to stay away from touch screens. There are more accidents on motorways now due to driver distraction; cell phone usage, touch screens, etc...

I disagree on the need for a touchscreen. Touchscreens require you to take your eyes off the road, and there's no feedback. It's great for an iPad, terrible for a car, and it's my only real criticism of the new Panamera. I think Merc got it right with this system.

probably never. Perhaps maybe E43.
How was it compared to the C-Class Coupe?
In terms of design and more configuration the e class is better ,comfortable and more spacious.
But if u wanted to drive a lighter cheaper and more city driving then the c class is better choice .
c63s is a way better track weapon if ur comparing both the top of range which is, E53 and C63s, c63s is better in
every aspect you can think of.
The cabin is the best ive seen and the design of the shape of the car looks very classy ,if you want lucury and style you buy this no doubt,if you want a drivers car with power and fun driving you get the bmw m340i.this exact car in the has turned my head from the m340i,beautiful looking car,oh by the way,if you haven't seen these in person they are a big long car
Mercedes far more reliable and strong than bmw.
@TheBlueskyson I bought my E350 black, premium plus with the night pack and 20inch black wheels a few weeks ago.Your wrong about BMW I only buy Bmw and mercedes and the bmw engine is better than the mercedes I've had and definitely more reliable .

@@TheBlueskyson yes.amazing looking car and the interior is by far the best out of bmw and audi,it's on a different level of luxury, mercedes is best for cruising in luxury, like I said bmw is for power speed.this time I went for luxury

G Rodriguez The S has a longer wheelbase to fit a window shape like that. If the whole window went down, where would the back portion go? Look at that part, it would be above the rear wheel. There is nowhere for it to go hence that portion.
SDav21 It should teleport into an eternity... or up the engineer's bum. Am cognitive enough to figure why they don't want it looking like an open rear window from a 90s Subaru but C209 CLK's had a more elegant pillar-less design compared to the E coupes.
