Chai is Hindi word for Tea. Mithai is telugu word for sweets (it refers to sweets generally) Samosas, Bhajji / Bhajia is telugu word and the snacks are similar. Good to see.
Kudos🎊to Hawa, your well informed of your sorroundings, and your explanation is definitely on spot, 👌i think you should really have your channel dear😍, i loved you all, you're all beautiful to watch, and Sinja, your very sweet, love your channel
The street foods in mombasa are just waw ..the spiciness and taste of definitely out of the blues ..precise taste. Good command of English from Hawa and exquisite explanation by Sinja. A must try..cheers
Mombasa is dope for food, especially during ramadhan periods, the women line up by the roadsides with loads of food and snacks. used to gain a lot of weight there. I loved their chapati with beans cooked with coconut milk, then mkate wa sinia, wow. worst thing about Mombasa is the hot humid weather, but August is the best time to enjoy cool weather.
Asante Hawa for the street food tour of Mombasa! So fun! I only had a few days to spend in Mombasa back in 2011, but I still remember what an interesting texture and sweet&sour flavor the mabuyu had. Definitely can’t wait to try it again and introduce my kids to all the coastal flavors! Mmmm!
