this was slightly inspired by a fanfic I read months ago or maybe even a year ago, I forgot what it was called but it was about the brothers getting a nightmare about MC brutally backstabbing them n stuff n because of that they started mistreating MC
....
AU EXPLAINATION:
MC time travelled to the future and killed their future self and took over. They originally were supposed to be all villainy and stuff but then they found out that they quit their plan and since MC at the time wanted it to continue, they travelled to the future and yk did it.
When the demons (also Solomon, Simeon, and Luke) found out that MC went to the future, they tried to enter it too but then failed because of the high energy consumption, so it's obvious that something has happened. So far only Barbatos managed to enter and so they trusted him to go in the future to save MC.
