I never thought about choice of music with a video until I watched this video. Cracks me up. This would be a great way to advertise a product, you would never forget it and it will still be remembered for decades to come.
Also, Ladybugs are not pests. Ladybugs are actually really good for your plants. We have so many ladybugs in our garden. It's really good for your garden.
I dont mean to be so offtopic but does anyone know a trick to get back into an instagram account..? I was dumb lost the login password. I love any assistance you can give me
Not only that, the music drowns out the information being given! Good info, if you can hear it. I had to stop watching. It was too much of a struggle to hear it. No, I would not subscribe!
I've tried the forks in past years, the birds seemed to appreciate the landing spot to perch on while plucking the leaves off my beans. And the chipmunks liked the added maze challenge to get into my potted plants😩
Couldn't the decomposing citrus lead to root rot? That's why they recommend composting your kitchen scraps before using it to fertilize your garden or plants.
I have my first seedlings I'm about to transplant into larger pots. Great advice. Very helpful. Thankyou. Visiting cats see my garden as a toilet. They are a nuisance, especially the one, who sharpen his claws on my newly painted fence.
I get them at my house also. Scratching up the mulch I put down, also getting inside my bins to scavenge for food. Cat people keep your cats inside, stop them killing all the wildlife and making your neighbours lives frustrating
Few nice tips, but I'm surprised nobody reacts to the vinegar! You should warn that vinegar kills ALL plants and can increase the soil acidity, and therefore should be used with caution and not at all around young plants! And if you feel compelled to use music in your videos - resist that urge!
Does anyone else feel anxious with the dystopian music playing, while that woman's voice sounds like its coming out of a hollow chamber? Sounded like a mind control video from the 1971 movie THX 1138. Good tips, although I wanted it to end. 😐
Music is a little too loud for the commentary, i know it's too late now to change but something to consider for the next time...LOVE THE INFO, thanks so much for sharing : )
I really tried to get through this video but that music drove me nuts... had to quit...GAH!!!!!!! I would seriously redo this video without the music. Got some good stuff here but just can't stand that distracting blaring music.
You people talking about Chopin as if it was rubbish.... where is this society came to? But I get that the music was distracting. For me it was for a completely different reason though. Also seems to me great tips on gardening but that( unlike the music) I wouldn't know.
Everyone is complaining about the computer voice, which I understand. Let's employ people, not robots. And everyone is complaining about the music. I agree, it is too loud, depressing and completely unnecessary. However, thank you for the very interesting tips. I love gardening. For all the complainers: you know you can thumb up someone else's complaint rather than waste time writing another one, right? The comment section would be less crowded that way. It's better for us all. I only wrote a comment because the actual tips are pretty cool, and very few mentioned them at all.
Funeral dirge! Not enough specific info to be helpful. (Peroxide strength.:dilution with water on roots or foliage) the location requires a difference or will kill the plant. These were just ideas to look up on our own-- more research required for most. I guess the funeral dirge was appropriate.
I like the baking soda around the tomatoes to make them sweeter , for sure will try this . I see the plastic forks but does it prevent birds from eating your plants ? Please confirm
I've used the fork trick for years but for a different purpose. It stops the neighbourhood cats from using my freshly seeded garden beds as a litter box.
Has anyone tried the plastic forks yet? I stopped reading the comments after approx., comment number 10 because they had the same complaint on music choice😩
yes the sad music was weird it was throwing me off a little bit not too much but definitely I would like to inform this lady that snails eat egg shells and can crawl over razor blades so the sharp course egg shells that she's talking about more or less is probably providing a snack for their snail rather than a barrier
The eggshell should be dried, crushed, and worked into the soil; that way it provides calcium for the plants. Don't believe though it would work for snails. You want to get rid of snails, see to it that you have plenty of healthy trees around the garden so the snail eating birds can nest.
water drainage is good. putting a coffee filter and preventing drainage will increase the risk of root rot. if you want your pot to store more water you should miz soil with sphagnum moss because it will soak water in a way that will not cause root rot and will still allow drainage.
I thought it was relaxing and thankful for the GREAT tips. Short and to the point. The voice was odd but whos cares I am getting free wonderful tips and appreciate it.
I had so much fun and laughter reading the comments to this video it was worth watching after all.
I totally agree with you lol same here

Exactly!

They eat aphids among other things.
My lady bugs turned out to be harlequin bugs!! Can't get rid of them now!!

Great video. Nice. Your New friend is here. Stay connected and stay blessed.
The music makes me believe you buried someone in that garden.

And her voice 😳
O.M.G. Thanks for the info, and thanks for inspiring these comments.
I’ve always wanted to know how to grow my own forks
@Bill Nye Ur Mom's a Guy once I crossed a fork with a spoon and had a garden full of sporks the next day!🤣

Great tips! I'm definitely going to be using some of these. I just learned about the egg water and have been using it. Thank you for sharing. 👍
Video not available 😠
Read the planting instructions on the seed pouch 😏
With the sad music, I keep waiting for the nuclear blast to blow all the beauty away.
Not only that, the music drowns out the information being given! Good info, if you can hear it. I had to stop watching. It was too much of a struggle to hear it. No, I would not subscribe!
Sheeril you said it
Bwahahah
The forks work to rid animals from plants. The neighbor's cats do not bother my seedlings and plants anymore. Thank you for the great idea.
mari her thanks

Toothpicks are sharper and work better.
@@JamesTenis I wonder if toothpicks would work for the rabbits attacking my garden.
@@annemurphy9339 If something is hungry enough the forks or tooth picks won’t do much
Please LOWER that loud wincing music so we can hear you better. The tips are great.
That music is terrible. Incongruous and depressing. It sounded like the plants were going to die by the end of the video.
They did after following this silly advice.
Sahan’s not so migthy no more
That is horrible ghostly
Music in a haunted house ....ugh!!!
Forget about the plants. I wasn't sure I'd make it to the end of the video.
I was going to write something but you said it all. lol
Do not add water from cooking if u added Salt or Vinegar. Thanks 4 the tips
Why the sad music?!! Who died?!! OMG

Terrific tips, logical ones! Thank you :) 🌱🌱🌱
But I can't help but agree with one poster about the choice in music, it's terribly depressing.
And way too loud!
Gardening is more than just a sport...
I'm still pondering that one.
I've tried the forks in past years, the birds seemed to appreciate the landing spot to perch on while plucking the leaves off my beans.
And the chipmunks liked the added maze challenge to get into my potted plants😩
@Flowercook, try empty mousetraps.
@@cubnation😯 That just might very well work! 😸
IT'S VERY USEFUL INFORMATION, I'M SURE, BUT ALSO VERY DIFFICULT TO HEAR OVER THE LOUD MUSIC.
SORRY.
WHAT?! I CANT HEAR YOU THIS MUSIC IS SO LOUD!
Wow I love your content because I love planting. Thanks for sharing.
This video is much sadder than those Drama TV series I've watched T_T
Sir, THIS IS THE BEST VIDEO ON HACKS for PEST CONTROL / GROWTH OF PLANTS I HAD EVER SEEN.
MANY and MANY THANKS to you for this display.
Too loud music and TOO irritating computer voice..I just can't get past this to whatever information was available.
Mute the sound and read the screen.
I put egg shells in the hole for the tomatoes you won't get end blossom rot
Amen to comments about voice & music - good grief, it's horrible!
Can you imagine my garden filled with plastic forks?!
My neighbour will think that i'll perform some kind of sorcery.....
Piano was great. Was someone speaking in the background also??
The music you played along side this very good and informative video was TOO loud and made it difficult to hear the important information, Lynda🙁
Best to hear your message without music in compensation of music noise. Thank you.
Muted. Since i can read what the comp voice is saying. And no annoying music.

Adrian Bigno Why you guys such judgemental about anything? If you hate it, then don't watch, give up, and lose your hobby stupid dumb ass!

@@jamessmith65536 I can still watch it but had to mute it.
Poor Chopin lol, personally I love his music but maybe not right here
dang, i must be really depressed because I wan't phased one bit by the music
I have used the plastic forks ( clear ones ) to keep neighborhood cats from using my flower box as litter box . It works ! 👍🏻😜
I'd do the same. Splendid idea!
I used wooden skewers(pointed side facing up) in my flower beds and the cats stopped messing with my plants.
So much for the video..everyone is focused on the music..adhd for sure..great video ..
I see ONE positive comment! How could you POSSIBLY get so many likes? I need to do some gardening to relax after this.
Couldn't the decomposing citrus lead to root rot? That's why they recommend composting your kitchen scraps before using it to fertilize your garden or plants.
Really don't need the music way too loud anyway .
I have my first seedlings I'm about to transplant into larger pots. Great advice. Very helpful. Thankyou. Visiting cats see my garden as a toilet. They are a nuisance, especially the one, who sharpen his claws on my newly painted fence.

The music hypnotized me. I forgot why I was on here 😁.
Same here.
I use eggshells all the time. They also put calcium into the soil
Me too. Why buy calcium when you've got a supply in your kitchen? I mix them with coffee grounds too.
Few nice tips, but I'm surprised nobody reacts to the vinegar! You should warn that vinegar kills ALL plants and can increase the soil acidity, and therefore should be used with caution and not at all around young plants!
And if you feel compelled to use music in your videos - resist that urge!
The coffee filters also help keep the soil from washing out the drain holes, that is why I use them.

Tipp: Never ever use Plastics in your own Garden!
The sad music needs to be about ten times louder... then this ironic video will be perfect.
I agree, you need a better music choice. ALSO, please turn the music volume down - it's just too loud.
Lol chopin op 28 no 4 is beautiful indeed but it is funeral march piece
Another good vid spoiled by to loud a background music. WHY ?
it is not even a good video
Now that l have seen the comments l am happy that something is on UA-cam that everyone can agree on lol 😝

Tracy - the info is good - just mute the sound and read the words - everything the voice reads is written - cheers.
How do you mute the music
Thanks for the good information & sharing your ideas,,
NO MORE MUSIC PLEASE ! Too loud, the video was okay but could hardly hear it because of the music.
Just mute it and read the info lol

Never knew the Underground Villagers would approve of giant plastic pitchforks, to deter small critters!!😉
I agree, stop the music!

Great stuff, thanks for the info, so many great ideas
1. Put plastic forks in your garden.
2. They deteriorate through weather.
3. Get micro-plastics in your garden.
4. ???
5. Profit
Toothpicks are sharper and work better and cheaper than the forks.
Ty. Wonderful info. Captions very helpful. Please, please no music.
Thank you for the valuable garden tips, but the music was somewhat annoying.

The plastic forks work , I have not had any squirrels or raccoons in my Garden , from Australia :) .
We have all kinds of relaxing and ambient music on our youtube channel that you can listen to while gardening.

That fork idea does NOT work. Squirrels and birds just jumped around them.

The only 2 I needed: Vinegar for Weed killing. + Sprinkle Baking Soda on the soil around tomatoes, will yield sweeter tomatoes.

Background music is too loud and inappropriate. 😕 Tips are useful, but background music is distracting
Great content, so many useful information for vegetable gardening
Some good ideas but music is overbearing.
Too bad it's 50% nonsense
You’re right, gardening is not just a sport. It’s not a sport at all.
Had to turn the sound off and just read what was on the screen. The background music was actually foreground music.
