Sending love to Jasper

Just wondering why they interview just the richest which are well off what evet happens
is it possible that she reached out to the news station? it's another way of marketing. In the future, she could advertise her newly built properties.
Wow, the callousness you are heaping upon this situation is disgusting
You mean, the way she smiles - the fire might have saved her the demolition and insurance saves her the to rebuild ?
Maybe because they’re the ones that own things?🤔
@@aquaticborealis4877truth hurts sunshine.
She seems kind of happy about this fire
Well yeah it’s a huge insurance payment
She had to stop herself from smiling.
I seen her smile right away she's ecstatic
More defamatory conspiracy garbage
@@aquaticborealis4877 Not if you know the system it's not cg.
She is not "shocked" but seems happy as she can rebuild new hotel ( paid by insurance).
Unless the insurance companies and the feds pull a "Lytton".....
PS
Parks will not rebuild… against mandates of Let Nature Take its Course
Why would she be shocked? Your theory is plausible but she is on vacation. She did not participate in the painstaking evacuation. And she knew there was a fire
@@saskk2290 , She is not responsible for the fire, get a grip., quit blaming her , This fire is Justin Trudeau fault, not hers.
@janetdunkley8654 I didn't say she is in any way responsible or glad. It's pretty obvious Justin Trudeau is not to blame for a bloody fire. That is nonsensical, and obviously an emotion based feeling. You can trust that I dislike him as much as the rest of you, but that's far out
hmmm, the owner made minimal reference to her 100+ employees ... she's insured, what support (financial) is she as an employer going to offer her employees?
What about the poor animals in the forest. No place to run.😢😢
😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
She going to sell to Blackrock. There going own the whole town now!
Hmm sounds like another area engulfed in massive fast spreading fire… can’t quite put my finger on it. 😮
I worked for this individual. Absolutely no sympathy.
Wow hey
Just a face does tell you some things
Y?
LOL could tell as soon as I saw her insurance smile

How come?
This reminds me of Hawaii, what a shame.Prayers to all of the residents of Jasper😢
I was just thinking the same thing.
@@bludaizee24 All these "wild fires" are artificially made possibly by a type of weapon.
@@DanielChiang-c5y Someone needs to check and see if the same satellite that destroyed Maui was flying over Jasper.
Nobody talks about poor animals in the forest who have been burned by this wildfire 😢
So sorry for all of you out there. Love from Ontario.
SHE LOOKS TOO HAPPY, INSURANCE CHEQUE ON THE WAY MUST BE HUGE!
You want her to collapsed in front of you? How wicked
Why was she smiling?
Because she became filthy rich making innumerable miserable and poor with broken promises.
Insurance
Because her hotel that burned down was a dump. Go on the internet and read the reviews.

worked her way up through daddy company lol.
The Jasper Lodge, a historical landmark is gone. So sad for Jasper, Ab. Sincere sympathy & prayers to all who experienced loss 🙏😢⚘️
If you are talking about Jasper Park Lodge it os fine. Yes, there was some loss but the main building is fine.
Praying for you 🙏❤ and all residents of Jasper..
Large stands of beetle wood burn incredibly fast and hot and jasper had lots of it. Park managers never do any fire mitigation and federal and provincial parks are the most dangerous places to be next to from a fire perspective.
100%!
Gotta find a solution to the bark beetles. But of course they'll never spray any sort of insecticides in a wilderness area.
@@huntstyle you can lay all these wildfires at the feet of government as they have all the solutions available to them but they won’t use those solutions because they think conservation is better.
She forgot to paint the roof blue lol
Forgot or knew not too?
My Sister Bev and myself travel by Via and get off at jasper to ride to Grande Cache . When I stepped off the train it was magical Jasper ❤️
Via will no longer be going through Jasper in the foreseeable future.
It was on the news.
The smile on this womans face says it all, she never lost nothing, oh yeah our insurance premiums will go up and she will double the prices of her rooms in her newly build hotel!!!
Such a beautiful area. So sad.....
My very favorite place to visit in all of Canada, I am so sad for Jaspers residents and businesses. Be safe - and come back stronger and more beautiful than ever.

@@frankhardy4969 Jasper Park was evacuated, the town was evacuated, it was lightning. Looking at the ARGIS website.
My husband's works in the Rockies, there are several wildfires including one near Kamloops (where many Jasper residents evacuated to). And his work is keeping a close eye on things incase their town needs to evacuate to.

Yikes!! She looks happy! So weird!
Photo shows building on fire and trees standing there. There need to be a fire investigation , from real fire fighters who are independent from the government
Wild fires in California and Lahaina, and now in Jasper...
Canadian government is behind Jasper wild fire. No other explanations.
Independent firms do not dare to investigate these incidents as they know who are behind them.
The most photographed lake in the world? That would be Lake Louise
Lol
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏from Iowa, very shocking and sad. Hope all your employees, guests family and friends are safe.,
Owener Karyn Decore says, "we keep in close contact with our employees and managers". Note the "we". So not her, but her management company. She is only taking advantage of the situation to get 3 minutes of fame, while she waits in her Caribbean condo for the insurance payout.
And yet the trees are still standing once again. Plasma fire.
Just like in Kelowna no one did anything until it was out of control
They knew the fires were coming they could have stopped a lot of that destruction
Right? Jasper did not have to burn down. The Government of Alberta has been slashing and burning forestry services and firefighting budgets to save a few million dollars. Vehemently opposed by statistics, the Government did it anyway.
Kamloops shouldn’t have happened. It did. No solutions have been made. Ridiculous.
Start bringing down trees ahead of the fire and create a burn barrier, and police the line. It's been done many a time, instead of waiting for it to burn. I'm not sure why such clean up practices aren't in effect in such dry areas in advance in case of forest fire. Clean up nearby dead foliage, fallen trees, etc. Some preemptive action, and quick action could have done a lot.
Much sympathy for the residents of Jasper anyone thats been there had to realize the risk of fire there was extreme as forest was so close to developed area that has to be factored in here
I said that to my Alberta brother when I was there in 1993.
She probably doesn't really care. Only cares for collecting the insurance for her lodge and rebuilding and charging more.
Waterton Lakes, and now Jasper. So sad.
Visuals are horrifying, hope everyone is safe.
I am sorry for homes and structures, I'm sure they have insurance..but what about those poor wildlife creatures and the forests?? Nobody is talking about the life or death of those animals! I am furious!!!!!!
😢
Furious about what? That mother nature didn't drop rain, or that she threw bolts of lightning into the dry woods?
Bunch of rich snobs crying that they can't visit jasper anymore.
For crying out loud, the animals move on. Forest fires have happened as long as there has been a planet. You have been Bambi-ized.

All that carbon tax couldn’t save jasper? 🙄 Wacko government

I can totally tell a story about how that company is run and they’ve been carrying on the same way for years
Yea they tryed taking me to court for damages when I wasn’t even staying there
Perhaps NOW is NOT that time. ✌️❤️🙂
Breaking news: rich snobs feel bad they can no longer visit jasper while forgetting about the surrounding area affected including wildlife.
yet, our government allows logging of old growth rainforest on the west coast. You would think we would be smarter with logging industry. This is an example of what the wild life is experiencing
She seems really concerned being in “Anguilla” and all. Tragic what’s happening but you’d think if she was really concerned she fly back to Canada and Jasper.
Remember the crowd strike attack? Flying?
Justice for all
I too sad regarding Jasper and it's residence. However, for the future, it's imperative that it is mentioned the extensive use of wood roofing. Seems unwise to use such practices in this location. If such material is used, a water dispensing system needs to be installed on the roof. Also, fire break lines - perhaps at a distance from the community, should be maintained.
THIS is just sickening! All that beauty... Up in flames. So, so sad. 😥
Future 15-minute city?
Crocodile tears, she seems so devastated. Can’t even focus on the interview, too busy looking at her phone.
Maligne is an interesting name for the lodge considering what the word means.
She is certainly being maligned on here.
It's named after the big blue lake, BTW.

😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Looks a bit like Gaza but without the organized genocide
Well Maui and now Jasper. I'm sure plenty of investors will be ready to take those properties off of your hands
I feel bad for the wildfire fighters not wearing proper masks around old buildings burning down. I hope they file wcb claims now. Structural firefighters wear masks for a reason.
If you google map that hotel, flip the view around to the trees.. what do you see?
scraggly pine and haze over the mountains
My Canadian suggestion is design fire blankets for buildings and governments keep stocks of them around to deploy for protection. Spend the time blanketing buildings instead of piddling around cutting shrubberies away from houses & stuff.
_And_ I was just in Jasper on a coach tour with my folks 2 summers ago too...
What animals have been affected?😮😢😢😢😢😢😢❤
All animals would be affected. The larger ones cans get away. Fledglings, reptiles , rodents and slow moving animals would not.
That hotel was so run down. She hasn't put money into it for years. Im surprised it wasn't condemned to be honest
TOTALLY agree!!! Five years ago they were fixing water damage and rot. Utterly ridiculous what these national park business owners have gotten away with. Slum lords (not a REIT) own Cavell and the Manor apartments. That's why her hotel burnt down, dilapidated dumps. Parks Canada knows all about it too.
Interesting that Jasper has been unsafe for days but she didn’t cut her vacation short to go help her employees.
They didn't have any fire breaks around the city which would have prevented this
Small town
Oh, how sad.

She thought fires only affected the poors.
Horrible. Stayed there many many times.
Why did you keep going back????
@@EstherShantz it's horrible the hotel is lost. Not the Hotel was Horrible.

You think with all her money she could get that gap in her teeth fixed.
I blame Russia.
You fight forest fires with water bombers the bigger the better but the government doesn’t bother just let it burn baby burn. .
Zero effort to put out the fire no planes and fire fighters on the ground is crazy they are lucky they didn’t get killed
The hotel owner doesn’t seem to be the least bit mad that her families business since 1961 burnt to the ground .
She actually thanks government workers for saving the basement to her hotel LOL
At the rate the fire was burning and the height of the flames made it too dangerous to fight.
If only the federal govt properly maintained this national park. Pine beatle killed a lot of trees, should managed the dead wood fuel better.
Please ask conservatives why they removed all funding for fire prevention, spotter towers, training and equipment and allowed my favorite Canadian town to burn???? And how are they going to pay for this after pocketing those savings???
Wah wah your favorite town burned, it must be someone's fault, of course the ones you dislike the most.
Has the Lobstick Lodge been affected?

it has taken 3 years to get some movement in Lytton BC that burnt to the ground, so here we have Jasper and the federalies will be putting Jasper back on the map in no time!
Funny how these fires have gotten worse the last 3 years… nothing to see here folks
Don't talk about climate change in Alberta. They have their heads firmly stuck in the tar-sands.
