“She’s just a friend”
- Adrien Bloody Agreste
The girlfriend thing was shown in a future/christmas episode. She was shown bi and polyamorous only to still marrying milhouse at the end. I think it's part of a whole long running joke: both milhouse and Lisa always being the one out in everything. Which at certain point it's kind of annoying bc "yes, it has to be Lisa" again
She looks so upset that she married milhouse tho.. I don't remember too much.. but I remember her looking upset.
@@Slappap i remember watching a video where it was discussed the topic of "why does Lisa end up with Milhouse if she actually has more chemistry with Nelson?" The conclusion in the comments was that Lisa is a capable girl with a strong personality that values her independence over all. So Milhouse who has a low self esteem wouldn't contradict her on anything and would let Lisa take the lead in all aspects of the relationship. Something Nelson wouldn't do at least not in such a passive way. The conversation then went, analysing Lisa's personality and how this is influenced by Lisa's perception of her mother, ect.
I love how the lgbtq community seem to forget What the q stands for.
@@sotired7562 the fuck does this have to do with anything? Are bisexual women who marry men no longer bisexual?

5:07 - Unironically, the best showing of Bart's love for Lisa.
how did they do that singing so well? listen to the notes they're hitting
"It's Ivy-er than my Ivy-est dreams!"
Grandpas alive in Lisa's future but in Barts he was dead.
anyone else here straight from the '"im not gay, but i'll learn" clip?
Bart in the background: *LISA’S GOT A GIRLFRIEND! LISA’S GOT A GIRLFRIEND!*
I just love how Lisa says "I have a friend! ..Maybe more than a friend"
It's Lisa with an "S", not Liza with a "Z" cause Liza with a "Z" goes "zz" not "ss".
Typing that made my brain hurt more than it should have.
* insert liza minelli voice *
And this got more of a laugh out of me than I expected.
its nice to know that lisa can be happy i wish she ended up with a girlfriend instead of millhouse that way shed attleast haave someone that understands her
Writters feel pety for Milhouse, so they give him that
“Ooo maybe more than friend”
“I was always the kid that didn’t fit in....middle child.”
Man that hurt in the feels.
Voice actor for Marge just REALLY can't do that voice anymore 😕
What do you mean? I'm sorry i never watched Simpsons in english dub So i can't tell Whats Wrong with the voice

“I never doubted that who I am was good enough.” 😭😭😭😭😭 I’m crying!!!
Lisa is the lesbian queen, bow down
Who would have thought the roommate was none other than Darcy?!?
That first roomate is taking the definition of “there’s always an asian that do what you do but better” to the next level, because they also do better in getting disappointment
If you look at the some of the paintings in the classroom scene, there’s a picture of a rainbow with the bisexual colors, very smart.
:O ooo!
That.. doesn't even look like the bisexual flag's colors.
They even ruined the color spectrum?? Oh jeez…
yoooo I noticed that toooo
Bart: *singing happy birthday to Lisa*
Also Bart: we all forgott😀
The bi rainbow in the classroom tho
Plot twist: *Lisa was born on a leap year and seen as it is her 8th birthday that conveniently means her birthday is tomorrow*
I like how Moe just lets the kids come and go
And one other future timeline she got engaged to a guy :|
So ....what, she's bisexual?
of course
Yep!
Yup
Yeah. She falls under the bi umbrella, dates some girls, gets engaged to at least two guys, and marries one of those guys (Milhouse)
Shes whatever the writers make her depending on the episode

Ok but the way Marge says "Bed and Breakfast" hits different
Because of course she does.

The clip I watched before this was when homer told Liza “I’m not gay, but I’ll learn” lol and then this got recommended

They didn’t have to. You guys throw temper tantrums whenever you aren’t represented. Maybe it was a good idea.
@@TheBigJayAgendaI understand your argument. However, the nuance of the situation is important.
People on both sides of the argument get mad when they arbitrarily change a character's behavior. For instance, many people would get mad if a good percentage of well-established gay characters suddenly became straight. It's not that changing one character is a big deal, but their is tidal wave of movement towards a political agenda wether left or right, it will cause immense frustration for the people who merely want to enjoy their favorite characters.
I KNEW SHE WAS SAPPHIC IN SOME WAY
Bart being supportive is the BEST
Ofc she has a girlfriend. Wouldn’t be 2024 if this cartoon didn’t have a gay character 🙄
It was shown that she liked women in the 90s
@@tobrik46yeah, and the vid was posted in 2020 anyways
Better than being a member of Cletus's inbred family.
How dare people accept others? Cartoons with yellow people should ONLY be straight and American! It’s not like we’ve never had representation.

"OH maybe more then a friend"
The best line Lisa Simpson has ever said.
Maybe I haven't seen enough episodes, but I don't recall any signs hinting that Lisa was attracted to women. I have always seen her with guys.
Or the idea that Lisa is rebellious, that's Bart's job
I think there was a episode that had her say that a woman was hot in it, not sure though
Theres actually been quite a few episodes hinting at her liking women, including in old seasons. Most are one scene deals like this one though, its never really been a fully written in part of an episoes plot
@@mrselfdestruct7605 So were they just ideas that didn't make it in the script or actual episode? I just haven't seen any. I've seen some hints with Patty before it was revealed she was a lesbian, but all the major love interests I saw with Lisa were with guys.
@@Yabuturtle yes and no, it was part of episodes but usually only shown or hinted through one liners or very quick scenes or jokes rather than played out as some of the newer scenes are (this one,her introducing her 2 girlfriends to her parents) and her characters identity isnt a main focal point similar to Patty Bouvier being a lesbian and having a handful of episodes centering around her relationships with women, or a character like Smithers where his identity is always very “in your face” even though hes never openly stated hes gay in any episodes, its sort of just a common understanding
this show was once cool but they destroyed a lot of things that made it unique.
