11:28 "The boat is absolutely fine" and we see the radar throwing itself around
"The boat itself was absolutely fine" *11:31** radar flies of tower*
I've tried to see the incident at 11:31, but I can't find it, perchance it has been edited out?
Rock solid boat , make a rock solid radar as well
A modern-day Nautilus. The (left-hand) driver seat can be called the Captain Nemo Seat. Now for the real test. Three months on the Somali coast.
Never mind. I just watched a video where its self-righting capability was tested. Very impressive!
11:31 lost the radar... The boat was "almost" absoloutly fine.
What a fantastic military "tool". Brilliant design creativity.
So is that normal for the radar to fall off or is that an optional extra ?
+Mat Du Port That's why they test the boats in these conditions, to rectify things like that!
Don't you know. It was suppose to fall off :D
Lol i was just about to comment 11mins 30 secs
and at 11:32 he says "the boat itself is absolutely fine" while showing some cap (or perhaps that radar) hanging loose
he was right the boat Was absolutely fine yes doing that speed in them waves most other boats would have probably broken in pieces a really an amazing boat
It would have been nice to hear about her mechanical systems, engine, steering, etc...
Perhaps it's secret squirrel stuff.
I'd love one of these to go play with some Somali pirates....
What an awesome boat! I will buy one one day!
Thank you so much for telling us about this boat, the engines are very powerful and it has such a long range, oh wait a second you did not talk about any of those things. Sorry but no sale.
You broke the radar off! Nice job!!! LOL
pretty bad ass, lets see the civilian version now, better keep the rising canon though, gonna need that for those sea monster and such rot
This boat is just about ready for haulover inlet.
So glad you stared to use professional recording equipment. No more noise while somebody is talking.
at 11:32 they lost the radar ???!!!!!
gonna buy this oneday
Wouahhh...What a magnificent boat, proff against all waves ! I love it and there I would no longer be afraid even if I did not see the shore !!! ;-)
But at 200miles out at sea what are you going to do when your radarfalls off like it did at 11.30?
@@philbrownsey-hughes2793 use charts like a normal person. Radar is used for finding and avoiding other boats and other obstacles that are not charted in low visibility or over long range. Navigation is not reliant on radar
wow awesome!!!!!!!!!!
Coolest boat of all time!
Mat Du Port.........that was HYSTERICAL!
As fast as they're moving, what impresses me is how quiet it seems to be - they don't seem to be straining to speak loudly or struggling to hear.
Amazing wonderful ,very well made ,how many beaufortsis the sea?.
Bulletproof? That makes me feel MUCH SAFER in 5 Meter waves! Hahaha. I needed that.
This boat is sick
A civilian version of this for 'captain and crew' couple would provide a boat for liveaboard cruising/dining ashore for coastal France and close to shore cruising into the Mediterranean.
if only luxury yachts were built this strong, I'd buy one to live on.
Would be a cool niche to tap into
Check out the Elling E4 and E6. They're also self righting. Maybe not as strong as this one, though.
Was that a radar at 11:32 ?
+brianhalim Looked like it to me. LOL
+brianhalim
It sure looks like it is. You can see that it was mounted on top. Now just hanging on it's wire.
How did you spot that?! 👍🏼
yep
it seems it got a new one... ua-cam.com/video/ztNAsaJZzCU/v-deo.html
Motors sound delicious @ 8:30 - 8:45 or so.... twin Cat c9 mentioned @9:45 ish
Is a Tank of the Sea🏴☠️!
Our Coast Gard should have a bunch of these.
More solid version of something like Botnia Targa 44?
Volvo IPS?
That is sweet.
Is there a head onboard?
seems pretty quiet, would make it great for rescue
How much would a typical version cost? What range do the tanks give you, top speed in good condition?
SXV 20 in used condition round about 2 Million Dollar...
payton manning was that u driving??
Are there any plans for a non-stealth, unarmed commercial version?
The problem with that is some government seeing you as an enemy and attacking you.
Lovely and solid ? Apart from the radar pod on top of the mast or was ?
What engine(s) does it have and hp
I have just one major question. Is it self-righting? Can you roll it like the old Coast Guard 44-footers?
yes
I saw another video - with the help of a crane it would self-right.
+Wilson Peralta It self rights completely on its own, the crane was only to flip thhe boat in order to see if it would self right. The crane didn't help it re-right itself.
Who is going to buy/put an order in for these?
Is there an option for cushions to turn the bow into a sun deck?
Lol
Please do capsize test with alive human inside. Like Eling luxury yacht have done in Nederland.
*Elling
5:50 is my favorite part
put me on the waiting list
Could now be completed with "Combat 90" equipment
Whoops there goes the radar
Twin Stuart & Turners mmmmm great.
They need double walled glass or a vapor barrier or an AC to prevent fogged up windows.
Seriously how long could anyone stand that motion with the snap at the bottom? I can practically hear vertebrae being crushed.
I wonder how those windshield wipers can withstand the impact of the waves...
At the end of the video I noticed the radar flew off
8:44 How come it has car/aircraft style windshield wipers, instead of those round windows that spin at high speed to fling the water off that you normally see on boats?
Right? You’d expect to see that on a boat like this.
Iets voor Monique van Hout. She love it !
Qual valor de um lancha dessas
Last time I took my drone over water I went out and chased a bunch of boats, I didn't notice till afterwards that there was a whale in my video lol, check out my latest video. That's and amazing boat btw
Só faltou prender direito a antena do radar que saiu voando na última onda.
This one is just for military use, right?
Bullet proof glass, kevlar armour plated superstructure, grp hull! Ah to be safe, sure it is, sure it is . . . . . . .
Yeah... but where are the rod holders?
Completely useless isn't it??
included in the price.
I was just wondering could this boat survive a storm like the movie The perfect Storm and could have survived the killer wave that sunk the boat
Stingrayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Stingray!
Good job the Radar Array was Cabled on and wasn't lost completely.
Did I see the Radar dome rip off at 11:30?
I want to buy one.
can a person get one of these for search and rescue
what engine is in that thing? scania or volvo penta.....
Twin C9 cat's
1:00 it's coming back into the harbour and there's no radar
Radar, what radar, we have no radar, we don't need no stinking radar
if I could afford it id buy 1!
At 11:31 the ariel snaps off the top.
How much?
who wants Jeremy Clarkson to review this?
now that would be funny to watch.....POWER!!!!!!! lol.....
Bob Cookston
Needs outriggers and rod holders
You can buy these in Texas.
what can't you buy here?... legally
I wish i lived in Texas...
Mate 👍👍🇦🇺
can i order 1unit please,armored,for puerto prinsesa/aurora province,,stealth anti radar,,bankwestperth,british petroleum/Shell intl
do they make a civilian version
Can I buy this and where?
+puertoricanboy100 They're built to order in West Ireland > www.safehavenmarine.com/
+puertoricanboy100 Yes & also you buy me a Barracuda too. thanks
+ybwtv obviously you need a geography lesson, built in Youghal on the south coast of Ireland
If this was solar you could use this to find the hidden lands they took off the old maps.
Drinking game- Everytime Assclown said "Solid" or "WHoa".
Frank- “come on it’s only 12m” Ha Ha.
My superyacht tender
I got seasick watching this.
I could have fun with that boat.
Lol Mat I was just going to write the same thing. What a shit camera crew to not edit that out lmao. Sales for this boat have now gone down lmmfao
OK got the engines... cat c9 engine
He couldnt catch my 1989 Searay 300 Weekender !!!!!
Could in a force 10 !
Serious I like the one from Santa Claus Christmas time
want1.
No way that is stealth.
where there "are" big standing waves mate not where there is big standing waves.
I may be stupid for doing this but if you gave me the choice between a massive yacht and this boat I would take the yacht sell it and then buy this boat.
So they blacked out a Boston whaler
5:50 Captain - give me 20 m waves please - its boring me.
Now that is one hell of a boat. Amazing. Now drug dealers should be afraid very afraid!
Have you see how much storage there is in a modern sports cruiser? You can hide millions and millions in impossible-to-find places. The only reasons yachts get busted is either (1) intelligence (informers) and (2) if they get greedy and take tons not kilos.
@@darthkek1953 I have two words for you 'sniffer dog'!
Safe Haven Thunder Child are good boats, but the Grabner Mustang Class are much more better.
