Hello Jason. As you said, it's not possible to use Async code for WebGL. However, there's a new class in Unity 2023 (or 2023.1) called Awaitable. It can make code writting simpler than Async code and it has some compatibility with WebGL. I have not tested myself, but Tarodev just released a video about Awaitables and he talks about WebGl compatibility too. You might want to try this new feature and do tests on WebGL, and implement it in your next videos about multiplayers.
Can you respond to the new Unity pricing changes? I can make a script that installs and uninstalls a game perpetually and potentially bancrupt a studio. That's ridiculous. I really hope they change their course on this. Even going by amount of unique users seems like a stretch.
Definitely :) I wouldn't worry about that exact scenario though, it sounds like they have similar fraud prevention to the ads setup (where they prevent you from false viewing ads 1000's of times)
