here's a tip for Totally Bear: You don't have to sprint-jump every time, only do that when it's a clear open field. And also memorized where the time crates are.
I had a relatively easy time on Rock It but I didn't expect you to Platinum that level so quick while missing a time crate and forgetting the running shoes throughout the entire last run to the exit. Pack Attack may be harder but here's one thing in Crash 2 that I like less than Warped (maybe even Crash 1): levels of the same type kind of blend together to me. For how much time I've spent in the trilogy, I should be able to tell every single level apart, but not so much with Crash 2. But at least it's better than in It's About Time with those alternate timeline levels.
@@Fxrrxt2x I think it's because there are many levels using the same themes and settings but not enough landmarks or new hazards to help me tell each level apart
23:00 you were so amazed that the game didn’t count that octopus as hitting you that you immediately hurtled into a nitro, that happened to me a few times
Almost there! You're on the homestretch! Good luck on the bonus levels! I think Crash 3 will be a much needed breather. The only relics I found tough were the motorcycle levels like Hog Ride. The pure platforming ones weren't too bad in general especially since you can abuse some levels with the slide spin jump AND Death Tornado Spin. You can use it to skip entire sections of certain levels or just breeze over some obstacles.
Spaced out was also pretty easy to me too. Piston it away was one of the few levels in the trilogy that took me more than one sitting. I never find either of the jetpack levels hard. I blaze through them in only a few tries
Great job on those last 3 relics, especially Spaced Out, I guess mastering Piston It Away made it so the enemies, obstacles and jumps didn't seem too hard to get past, but yep I definitely agree with you saying that Spaced is better than Piston to platinum, mainly because of its shorter length, straightforward cycles, less obnoxious enemies, etc. And about the hitboxes, Crash 3 still has a few dodgy ones, not as bad as Crash 2, and trust me, you'll notice the hitbox difference when you get to Crash 4, no pillboxes there. Gonna be interesting to see your top 5 video for Crash 2, expecting Cold Hard Crash, Snow Go, Pack Attack, maybe Totally Bear if you struggled on it, and possibly Hangin' Out. Still saying that Crash 3 definitely won't give you a break, as there's more levels to deal with, heightened complexity, even more techs to utilise, vehicle levels (Which despite what people say, are actually very fun in my opinion), and maybe more fun before Crash 4's brutality. I'll give you some Crash 3 levels to look out for next video, but for now, enjoy your relatively short break between games!
25:11 ohboy, complaining about this game's issues with unwanted inputs you gotta get the platinum relics in Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced on the GBA, THAT one really is a pain with the rocket jump powerup when you jump while sprinting lol
Yes, the jetpack levels were some of the annoying to Plat but I'm glad you did it. Totally Bear is the only tough one left to do, but I personally find it pretty easy. Totally Fly is easier than Night Fight so you will get it fast enough. Last stretch hypeee.
When you do the Crash 3 time trials, you might want to know how to do something called Mach Tornados. It's where you slide spin and jump at the same time and do the death tornado spin to get a speed boost whenever you touch the ground. Easiest places to do them are the medieval levels.
Mach tornadoes are unintended tech that trivializes some levels. The difficulty pulling them off consistently is about the same as just doing the level normally
I doubt he will find out about the tech, it took him almost 20 levels to start slide jumping even though everyone was recommending that in the comments lol.
@@Krisuchu He might not, but I figured I throw it out there on the off chance he'd see it. I wish he slide jumped more, too. Too many people must have told him slide spinning was fast, since he's done it in nearly all of the end tunnels for the levels. Since Crash slows down when doing it, I was conecerned he might lose out on a platinum for doing it.
I think Piston It Away and Spaced Out kind of go together because it's kind of hard to remember which one is the real hard one. They look so similar. It's a little problem I still have with levels in Crash 2 and not nearly that often with other mainline Crash games
With the first jetpack level I was having a tough time getting gold and jumped straight to getting the platinum when I worked out you have to rush the lab assistants. Couldn’t get gold without that and then doing that gets you platinum pretty much
Polar waits for one last ride. Crash 3 levels are much more simpler than these two games. The only true nightmares are jetski and motorcycle levels. They are so unbalanced and unstable.
Yeah, the jetpack levels are super easy but Lewis was probably not used to the controls. It is like the only vehicle level in Crash 2, unless you count polar. But you just go left and right with polar.
Why you never spin back the shrinking rays lewis? You know you can simply spin them to deflect them right? Because I sure as hell didn't until recently.
In My opinion, almost every level that implies the use of a vehicle of some sort was better in the original and the hitboxes are totally worse in the remake. By the way, I think this n. SANE TRILOGY is awesome, it's just that some things are not that great. Rock it and pack attack were some of My favorite levels in the original. at first the control of the jetpack was odd, but after that You get used to it, the levels were enjoyable. Plus, the music is really atmospheric.
yeah the hitboxes in Crash 2 SPECIFICALY are ridiculous I hate them so much. It sucks like it is really stupid. Especially in Spaced Out. Hate that level too
Overall a much easier game. The levels’ core designs are easier because the relics make them harder so they made them a little more open and intentionally for the sake of speed. Granted some of the time are randomly tight for some reason. Aside from the odd level here or there, they are much more enjoyable

Hi Abdul
27:54 the octopus demon claims yet another victim...
Levels to worry about in crash 3
Makin’ Waves (Tight)
Hog Ride (Both)
Tomb Time (Tight)
Midnight Run (Difficult to Complete)
Deep Trouble (Difficult to Complete)
High Time (Difficult to Complete)
Sphynxinator (Difficult to Complete)
Tell No Tales (Difficult to Complete)
Gone Tomorrow (Tight)
Mad Bombers (Difficult to Complete)
Rings of Power (Tight)
Hot Coco (Difficult to Complete)
Future Tense (Both)
Ski Crazed? I remember that level was the most difficult.
so like all of them
For me it doesnt include Gone Tommorow, Tell No Tales, Midnight Run, Tomb Time and Makin Waves. The rest are Hell mode extreme
@@WumpaLewis Lewis hog ride is like the hardest level good luck
@WumpaLewis Yup, very hard and frustrating. Best of luck man, look forward to seeing it.
I love how many people thought firstly that the minimazing lasers can't be spun.

the top 5 worst levels list is coming along nicely I see..
My guess:
5. Piston it Away
4. Hangin' Out
3. Snow Go
2. Cold Hard Crash
1. Pack Attack
@@Moolers well, he had struggled in Snow Go most. I remember that video lol. But remember he excluded The Lab on the list for Crash 1.
I just realized that you can spin the blue Lazer balls that shrink Crash.
How many beers have you had?
My friend: 27:53
This part had me laughing 🤣 on the floor so much I was caught off guard 26:27
Sounded like classic AVGN lmao
21:30 , 27:53 bro you may need to consult a psychologist before moving to the next game .
"Golly gosh" is a new one.

I'm the same way with Crash 2. I can't seem to cement those levels into my memory for the life of me. I wonder why that is.
@@Fxrrxt2x I think it's because there are many levels using the same themes and settings but not enough landmarks or new hazards to help me tell each level apart

14:40 that was unfortunate! I was thinking how you can avoid all these nitros when Crash wearing jet pack was hard to control!
Lewis totally bear is pretty tough make sure to dash at big parts and some small parts of the level good luck your gonna need it!
Well crash 3 will definitely be relaxing after this
Except Coco ski levels?
I mostly struggle with the arabic levels but yea
I was about the coco ski levels
And don’t forget hog ride!
Yeah, not at all.. lol. Gonna be very frustrating.
Spaced out was also pretty easy to me too. Piston it away was one of the few levels in the trilogy that took me more than one sitting. I never find either of the jetpack levels hard. I blaze through them in only a few tries
Piston It Away was easy for me and I did it within 10 tries. But Space Out? That one is currently kicking my ass big time for some reason.

@5:52 lol what? RIP ✝️
This is why I only went after the gold relics 😂
try platinum it's so much fun.
You can not slide while in the crouched state, and you are at least a frame short of exiting when you tbag like that
Congratulations. The two bonus levels are easy, get ready to Crash 3 xd

Can't wait for crash 4 dev time relics
I play this inverted. The first flight level I platinumed first time. 😅 I have lots more difficulty with other levels.
I know you already did the levels but I prefer using the triggers in the jetpack levels.
I'd like to mention that you can deflect teh shrink bball by spinning. Wonder how many people don't know
Totally Bear = Dark level. Good luck with boosting in the dark

Anyone see the crash floating outside of the station at 3:33 ?
I know it’s irrelevant now because you’ve already completed the level, but you can spin those shrinking energy balls away.
The lazer that minimize you can be spinned away ;)
Took me the length of this video to get gold on Rock It. Once you get the hang of the controls, it's pretty fun 😊
Oh man that was close on Spaced out
Lewis, why are you not playing as coco? You forgot that she was playable or you didn't care?

Congrats bro your making me do mine on ectasy 😂😂😂
Will you be doing Crash 4 platinum relics?
Told you so
day 1 of asking lewis what his favorite crash level is in any of the games
Will you do plat relics on Crash 4?
Do you have any desire for the crash 4 developer relics?
rock it and pack attack is the reason why i dont want to get the plat in crash 2

wait till you get to spaced out
never mind i’m a spastic
You could've just spin the projectiles.
First and excited! 😁😁😁
You are going lose it on Totally Bear
Spaced Out should the last level and not the bonus stages
I hated these levels just trying to complete. The controls are awful
Come on bro, these are the easiest plats in the game yet!!!!
