My friendship with Toller Cranston
Toller's case against CBC actually went to trial. Toller was successful. Ironically CBC had a complete defence to the case as Toller was a member of ACTRA, the actors' union and his remedy was to file a grievance under the collective agreement and had no right to sue. CBC was too stupid to realize this. By the time he met with me, the time for filing a grievance was long gone. Here is the full text of the case. www.canlii.org....
