Yeah in my experience she is still good if enemy is neutral to ice (20% resistance) but she starts to reeeeeally fall off when facing enemies like Ice Out of Space (40%) or Cocolia (whopping 60% lol. Freeze immune too) so yeah I would rather bring a proper element than just brute forcing at this point.
Nice to see there being a lot more variety in team comps. Though a large part of the variety is mainly due to robin+topaz banners being a "Flavor of the Month" and the MOC floor being favorable for imaginary DPS'. Still, it'll be more interesting to see the variety of teams that'll be used in the future when more banners are released that support/step-up the current comps we have available rn (hypercarry, FuA, Acheron+Nihility, *New* Superbreak)
He has some of the worst takes, i remember him saying Aventurine at E0S0 deals more DMG than Jingyuan and Argenti while sustaining better than Fuxuan 😂.
Some of the low cycle clears are clearly whales with e2+ Acheron judging by the comps. For MoC 12 I was able to 3-star with a FuA team with an unbuilt Topaz at lvl 60 and lvl 0 relics. I just wanted to take Numby for a spin but ended up 3-staring. Would be interesting to see avg. lvl/Eidelons in the statistics.
Because there is no standard what eidolon level the teams are, the useful information you get out of average clear speed is very limited because almost the only thing that matters becomes what is the average level of whaling for the team or the character. Because of Prydwen MoC clears which are limited to e0, we know that allowing Eidolons reduces the average clear speed by around 2-2.5 cycles, and we also know that not all characters have equal amount of whales.
Prydwen MOC average clear speed isn't high because of E0 lol (look at the 4 stars). It's because they don't use full 36 stars as their criteria, which makes Prydwen's data *completely* useless. The clear speed in this set of data might not accurately reflect the characters' performance at E0, but there's no reason to think that "not all characters have equal amount of whales".
@@exu7325 4stars can get a boost from whales too. Yukong is always low on the cycles, because she is almost elusively used in teams with a e2 Dhil. Pela gets a big boost from being in teams with Acheron of various eidolon levels. And all units can get a boost from whale support units. I would consider it to be obvious that not all characters are equally whaled on in any gacha game, and all data on every game I have seen has shown that. And the difference in Eidolons can even more clearly seen in teams. If you look at this data to determine the strength of teams, you would have to say that triple nihility Archeon is among the worst teams in the game, but nobody actually thinks that. What actually happens is that whales have e2+ Archeon so they don't play triple nihility, so the ones that play it are only low spenders so the average cycles is high.

You can easily compare and contrast clear speed with appearance rate (high clear speed - low appearance rate means high investment and vice versa). While Yukong is mostly used in 0 cycle comps, Pela has 55% appearance rate. Not all characters have the same earning. But there's no reason to assume that the E0:E1+ ratio for each character differs greatly

Also the average level of investment is surprisingly high in games like this. To take Genshin for a example which I have seen the stats on, there are dps units where over 50% who own them among the population who post their abyss clears have 1 or more constellations, and there are main dps units where that number is as low as 10%. I don't see a reason why HSR would be different.

It's most likely cuz the damage-floor of DOT teams is so high compared to crit teams. The fastest average clears are around 6 cycles which is alot of cycles, so alot of the stats come from newer players and for them units with a higher damage floor preform better.

To add to the jingliu situation, not only is there no ice weakness, but to me personally, with a good but not goodlike jl, it has been by far the hardest to brute force with her. Previously no ice weakness didnt faze jl at all, but this moc it really does. Not unplayable ofc, shes too strong for that, but if you have alternatives, its much comfier to switch to those instead.
Yes.I agree I two cycled first phase with jingliu. But the hp buff for geppi fromm 500k to double was hard to brute force. Not to mention seem s the new enemy looks like tanky untill I break which is why is focused on breaking them then focused on them.
because acheron does not benefit from energy recharge of MoC 12.. while everyone else benefitted from that.. DHIL having energy recharge blessing means he has absolutely no worry on going HAM with skill points especially with sparkle.

I have a question: Why would you bother using appearance rate when usage rate is a better statistic because it actually tells you what characters people are choosing to use amongst their own roster?
Appearance rate is useful data to compare with clear speed. If a character has high clear speed but low appearance rate, it's fair to assume it's a high-investment composition (FuA comp, Yukong, etc.) And vice versa, high appearance rate means the character needs comparatively lower investment.
Because she's a standard unit, so a lot of people have her, but not many uses her, leading to a low usage rate. Plus, while she's solid she doesn't compare to the top tier limited units while also needing Sparkle/Tingyun and ideally DHIL's LC as well (which is basically the standard DHIL comp, so why not just run DHIL)
You can tell alot of people have been misinformed by Iyo with their trash takes thinking Acheron’s high damage per snapshot equates to higher total damage per cycle. It does not. DHIL has faster clears because he does more total damage while dealing less damage per snapshot. Sometimes having more snapshot damage means you clear the fight faster. But in MoC, being able to accumulate lots of damage quickly gets you the win and DHIL is the professor of endless turns taken.
It's baffling to me how she went from not even having the best damage per cycle calculations (by TCs) to the only Tier 0 DPS unit, overnight. Sheeps and liars, I tell you.
Speaking from experience, Jing Yuan sucks against that Dino with the shield. So much splash damage goes to waste if it isn’t weakness broken. Also he can’t break it quickly because the dual target scenario means lighting lord doesn’t focus it. Because of that it’s not surprising to see him underperform
