The builder is a scam. If you apply the same attributes that the 99 overall MP build to a customized character, you will see the real rating is 80+.

I’ve been saying this for a while they need to buff the defense like it’s easy to score and the catch animations need to be fixed too also the rebounding sometimes myplayer doesn’t want to jump or just tries to use his arms and hands to grab rebound even though I’m tall with a high vert and a 95 def rebound
they should revert to the old ps3 style and let us all make whatever build we want without stats linking to each other . full creative control
At this point 2k needs to stop dropping games every year and start dropping more every 5 years. They have proven they cannot make a good game over the span of a year so why not just build on one over time especially since the graphics look the exact same every year

The builder is fine just make speed and strength matter and u will see totally different builds weak locks can steal the ball if timed right but still would get cooked by a strong slasher or big because u can push pass them jus make physics matter and make sense problem fixed

I agree with most except park definitely doesn’t need that many players. Maybe a bit more than currently cause every once in a while on a streak you’re sitting there waiting for a new team. Also the parks dying out with no one new loading in causes this. 150 or too many would cause you to only get a game if you get next at 0-0. Also just SHRINK THE SIZE. The park layouts are WAY too big. Never even bother going to the court furthest from entrance cause I always end up waiting for a new team. I think it was 21 or 22 old gen that had all the 3s courts in 2 columns close to each other. Bring that back!

2k isn't dead there is just too many servers and different users playing a variety of game options, Pro-am 3v3/5v5, Rec, Park, Play Now, MyTeam, MyLeague. They need to have each server be filled before they begin to fill others. Just because the content creators aren't heavily invested like they used to be doesn't mean that the game is dead.

Strength matters in 2k23. High strength boosted my Clamp breaker. I had a PG with 77 strength and hof Clamp breaker on 2 builds. The one with the strength ran through ppl 90% of the time. The other didn't

I have a couple of ideas of how to create a builder. Not sure how good they would actually be.
1. You pick like three players or playstyles you want to be like and some algorithm determines a mixed but balanced set of attributes that emulates your picks.
2. Start out being able to do everything decently. Your gameplay determines which skills get better or worse depending on how you play. If you constantly make shots your shooting improves or if you keep missing it goes down. Or could be by doing practices too idk.
Defenser always matters in a basketball games what's the point of a basketball game if you can't play defense on your opponent throw the whole game away if that's the case 💯💯

Going back to pie charts is taking steps back not forward also y’all got to stop thinking having a a weakness and more variety make you more skill because it doesn’t, also their was do it all builds even with pie charts
Also the builder is not the problem it the gameplay we had do it all build before and those was the best 2k”s 15-16 the reason builds seem so op is because we have the worst defense while having the easiest shooting ever so of course builds are op
Also the reason why everyone makes the same build is because of money we already spend 60-100 on the game then have to spend another 150 on the build so of course everyone going to copy because builds cost way to much money to make multiple builds so they can be trash and let not forget that we also have to grind out each build as well
Also for some reason, my countdown timer for season 9 disappeared on old gen 2k23. It's just gone lol

Builders had existed for a lot of years. If they wanted a perfect builder, it should have happened a long time ago. They are not getting the builder right because they are deliberately doing it on purpose. They want you to spend more when you create your player. All they think about is MONEY!!!!

Parks maybe dead but this isn't the only mode. Park isn't as popular as it once was..I think 2k18 the park has been dying.. I don't play park except for quest.. I play in the rec and if I want to play 3v3 I will go into the theater, which has match making.

Reward good ball movement. Take away 3 speedboosts per possession how tf is that even realistic? My player goes from moving fast to pre k speed and handles 💀. Make it so if we’re open we actually hit shots and take away the luck factor a lot.
