They still did well even if it was staged by their staff (Nmixx members did not know about the plan). This just shows that NMIXX sings live with all that hard choreo & shows great professionalism.😊
They should sing an capella medley in all their concerts:D its important to highlight they strengths glad Jyp is finally capitalizing on lipsynch scandals to show them off .

Actually the timing of this from Squ4d was 100% throwing shade at another team who is catching heat and backlash for lipsyncing a few days prior at Korea Uni festival. So yes it was some shade thrown there, and the company name is JYPE the 3 letter acronym is for the person Park Jin Young (JYP) and he doesn't run the company.

Yes, Nmixx didn't know about the plan. Bae said they didn't know about it and it was also said in the official statement by their staff that they didn't inform the girls. Also in the close-up fancams, you could see the girls having surprised expressions while performing
I don't see anything wrong with this. Everyone plan some things for their performances in order to make it more exciting. I think some people are just mad because they are worried that their faves won't be able to continue singing when the sound system malfunctions. And btw, I believe NMIXX really don't know about this because you can see Jiwoo is almost hesitant to continue but just kept going when she saw that everyone is determined to finish the performance.
Factually speaking, we all know they can sing live, so they shouldn't have to prove anything by staging stuff like this. Then again, it’s understandable as too why JYP wanted this too be staged. (You know with groups nowadays lip-syncing).
It's trending now. MR removes staged to show vocal quality..YG Baemon has already done it in Japan, JYP Nmixx has joined in too, maybe SM aespa will also follow the trend..but Hybe LSF and Illit won't dare to follow this trend
I don’t know this group and they seem lovely but don’t forget that autotune can be used anytime there is a mic and speakers. So with technology as it is today it could be used at any and all concerts or festivals. Now, it can be turned on and these ladies didn’t need it I’m sure as you say they are very talented. So that is an open question for all vocal performances of all artists. Since the Super Bowl debacle a few years ago this has been an ongoing question. Singing live doesn’t mean singing without autotune anymore. Not speaking about this group just changing times we live in.
