I went to three Bigbang concerts: GD's solo concert OOK, three members unit Concert and Made tour. One of the best memories. They used to have tour every year so I was like even I skip this one I still get to see them next year. Well, we all waited too long. Hope Taeyang is going to have a tour this year.
With their performances especially their concerts, Bigbang pays attention to details even to the extent regarding font and font size in the LED projections, they have a say on it 🙌

Keep in mind that this was an award show with other performers. Look at all those crown lightsticks in the audience. There is a running joke in the VIP fandom that award shows are basically a BIGBANG concert. Just listen to the crowd chanting "encore" as if it's a concert. 😁

try their ballad song " if you" all of them are singing, bigbang have 2 rapper that can sing well, and 3 vocal, 1 have strong hiphop vocal, 1 powerfull vocal rock type and 1 soft vocal as the harmony of those other 2, their live performance in made tour in bangkok...and they always turn award show into their concert...

D’splay is Daesung’s yt channel, he does a lot of drum covers, but of course he denies he’s Daesung. It’s really cute. We the fans on his site are D’guys (VIPs in “disguise”).
I used to study percussions years ago, still have a drum set, congas, bungos etc. just rotting away😢, so I get your love for Daesung.

You should definitely check some Daesung's solo stuff like "Anymore". Actually before that something fun would be Daesung + Kang Seungyoon from Winner singing "Ugly" (a 2ne1 cover) at YG family concert. It's rock and fun and just 🔥

you should watch their live concert performances next (or whole concert lol) they always used live band for the music (the band was Band Six)
Bigbang probably went to an award show on their entire career for like less than 10, for sure. But everytime they are coming, they always turn the award show as their own concert. One of the main reason why we love them

Is amazing Performe
This is not a complete version. They actually performed 5 songs if I remember it correctly (If You, Loser, Sober, Bang³, and Fantastic Baby). That is why you can see that box at the back part of the stage.
Imagine seeing some of the next gen idols bringing back lipsyncing and using AR on music shows, award shows and even in their own concert... then you see BIGBANG barely doing any choreo but giving the audience the best live performance in every stage.
I don't have anything against choreography but if the idol group can't bring the same energy as any of the amazing live performers out there while dancing, they should reconsider what type of career they really want to focus on. Be a dancer or a singer?

Hey CL! I always appreciate your passion for BB, but let’s keep the other groups out of it. I like the other groups as well. Yea they perform different, that’s fine. We don’t need to put one down to raise up the other though. They are all great!
Prior to their 2015 comeback, Daesung have been practicing his drumming skills for 5 years. He hasn't stop after that.
Fun fact: He created his UA-cam channel almost a year after being discharge from military service. The fans didn't know about it since Daesung don't have any social media. He hid himself by using a persona called D'splay. Fans found out when Taeyang began leaving the word dsplay without the i through questions of fans asking about Daesung's whereabouts. It took a while before fans understood the hint. You'll get to watch him drum, vlog, and share his English and Japanese lessons without showing his face.

I really love seeing Daesung playing his drums. Daesung gifted Sandara Park (2NE1 member) a drumstick and told her to continue her passion in playing drums because YG CEO is so against it.

Sober has an upbeat and fun sound, but in reality it's a melancholic song. It can be about someone fighting depression and the upbeat sound in the background it's where they want to be, it's when they're not sober and can pretend... "Time is so damn slow, I'm just growing old, I live like I'm dead. I have so many things to do but nothing that I want to do".
The lyrics are pretty much dark and raw, I really recommend you to read them. And the "La la la la" part at the end of the song almost sounds like them finally leaving their sobriety state, when they can pretend everything it's ok again... "It's hard for me to be sober, I can't do anything".
I really recommend you to check out this song 😉
And in fact even in 2023 I will be disappointed because my hope this year is to see Bigbang's performance with full members, I have to be sad again because this year, TOP will go to the Moon for his space trip with his friends at DEARMOON

Yo los conocí precisamente por el álbum en japonés, pues en ese tiempo yo estaba muy interesada en cultura japonesa y a finales del 2010 y principios del 2011 estaba escuchando música japonés y que voy escuchando unas canciones que estaban pegando muy fuerte en este mercado y me atraparon (la voz de DAESUNG en esas canciones me atrapó y hasta le fecha es mi bias) obvio investigué quienes eran y que me sorprendo al saber que eran coreanos y 12 años después aquí sigo esperando por ellos 👑💛
