Dear Himanshu, u are best teacher i have ever seen, please solve this error "Fiscal year variant K4 is not defined for calendar year 2001" i was trying to create asset master data it gives this error.
Click calendar year check box in K4

why accumulated depreciation is shown as asset in creating fs00 , as it is reduced from the asset value ?
You are correct accumulated depreciation should have been created in liability side
Kindly reply if am correct
@@rameshs555 it is created as a contra asset in sap ( instead of creating it as a liability )so that it will appear on the assets side

Accumulated depreciation account will liabilities instead of Asset classified, , accumulated depreciation classified under asset is wrong , matching to your entry
The accumulated depreciation account is a contra asset account on a company's balance sheet, meaning it has a credit balance. It appears on the balance sheet as a reduction from the gross amount of fixed assets reported.
Accumulated depreciation account is a cumulative balance of depreciation to find out quickly NBV of an asset
