When I was in high school I watched that Zeitgeist movie and thought it was true. It wasn't until later that I found out it was all nonsense and even historians ditched it ultra quick because it was a bunch of nonsense. Recently returned back to Christianity after looking at the evidence for God's existence and been real grateful for videos like these getting out there spreading the truth.
It's sad that the people who made Zeitgeist had to lie, and deceive people, it's literally misinformation.

if I can add, there's also no biblical account that definitively says Jesus was born on December 25th. there's no exact date given by God in the Scriptures, because the exact date isn't the point, but the point is that Jesus did come into the world to save sinners like us!

This is not a debunk! It is a confirmation. At best the video shows that the jesus myth is not exactly the same as any of the preceding, god-man,/son of a god stories but that confirms the main thesis of "zeitgeist" by showing that the jesus myth is a "mish-mash" of elements from several of these stories.
More importantly he cherry picks the versions of the other stories he wants to use but there were 0ther version (he admits this but fails to elaborate as this would destroy his case) just as there are multiple versions of the jesus myth in the bible. For example, jesus is born of a virgin in only matthew and luke, the empty tomb stories all vary and it is only in matthew that the graves open and the dead walk the streets when jesus is crucified.
The existence of conflicting versions of the various stories does not mean that the other versions did not exist

Also, right after Jesus was crucified, his followers went into hiding, because they were afraid of dying. But after he rose, and they met him, then they were ready to die, for him. They did die. They would rather die, and love Jesus, then deny him. Of course he had been denied, before he was crucified, but after he had risen, they were ready to die. So many died. That is truly amazing.

Don't be deceived, that word "Gentiles" is a false construct. It's from the Latin word for nations, foolishly allowed to be carried over into our English bibles from the Latin Vulgate translation. It just means nations. Obviously it refers to the nations listed in Genesis 10 & 11. The serpents are crafty, you have to give them that, they use one language of God's word to change the meaning of a concept in another language. (See Gen 10:5, the word for nations AND gentiles are the same Hebrew word)
God had warned his people from Mt Sinai that he would punish them if they rebelled, and that punishment was always that he would "scatter them among the nations" instead of allowing them to live in the promised land under divine protection. Thus it was in 722 AD when 10 of the 12 tribes were scattered among the nations. They were forcibly removed by the king of Assyria, then they sacked Assyria, and made the nation of Scythia, then over the course of centuries everyone migrated.
To the mind of a Judean there were two main kinds of people (not the only kinds), the Judeans, specifically the Israelite Judeans (There were other kinds of Judeans), and the nations (descended from Adam). The Judeans were at that time under a (old) Covenant with God and practicing the rite of circumcision, while the rest of the nations were not under a Covenant with God and did not practice circumcision.
That's all "Gentiles" refers to, the non Judean nations of the world that descended from Adam. And for 800 years those nations included the greater part of the 12 tribes of Israel, so it had nothing to do with ethnicity, it was based on being a separate people with a relationship with God vs not. Those were the distinctions.
There were many Judeans who weren't God's people, and Jesus addressed them in no uncertain terms. These were the "Wolves among sheep", "Goats", "Tares among the Wheat", "children of the devil", and "serpents". (John 8:44 & Matt 23:29-36, for example)

Thank you for this video. I'm an atheist with a huge love for myths, legends, and folklore. It's very clear that other atheists who make these claims don't do nearly enough investigation into claims on either side. There are plenty if parallels between Abrahamic religions and myths and legends throughout history but to simply make up claims like these bug me to no end. The plain and simple truth is that something big happened to the disciples after Jesus was crucified. These men went from terrified and cowering in hiding, to being willing to die in horrific ways because of their witness of the risen Christ! So I'm only five years late. But after doing my own research I've learned that there are people who have hidden agendas. God always ends up telling the truth. Trust his word above the words of man.
God really does work in mysterious ways. I have been wandering down the new age path for about 7 years now, recently I started studying Wicca and the other night I ended up having a horrible nightmare about what I would consider to be the end times, rapture, etc. I’ve never denied Christ, I just haven’t been living for him, but that next day after having the nightmare I started to question if Jesus ever existed, ended up watching zeitgeist and this video immediately came on after which then led me to your channel and exposing the new age. I have experienced sleep paralysis and a lot of negative and demonic energy and honestly these past several years of being on this path have brought me less peace and more grief, sorrow, and awful people into my life than I could have ever imagined. I had no idea that the new age is such a deception. I used to follow your spirit science and metaphysics’s page as well as the spirit science channel and after watching your testimony I’ve had such an epiphany as to how I need to turn my life around. And hearing it from someone who knows so much about the new age himself, makes everything so much more relatable than to view it as just some person preaching Christianity who has never had any experience with any other path. So much of this has resonated with me and the fact that I am just now coming across this information and was so clueless for 7 years... the timing is wild. I have been experiencing sleep paralysis during my teenage years and later from time to time. I had some interest to paranormal and new age stuff, fascinated in telekinisis although I was never actually mixed seriously with any of it. I guess I was giving excuses to evil with my way of life. This thing (paralysis) contrary to people trying to excuse it in a scientific way I believe it is spiritual as I guess you said too. The reason I say this is because all the times I could sense it approaching before it happen and when it was grabbing me, it didnt just hold my body but my whole being including my thoughts. As an automated response as if I could feel that I was dealing with a spirit, I was trying to say a prayer not loudly but in my mind but this thing was stopping me. I had to put extreme effort and concentration and when I managed to do so, spelling just a few words within, it was going away in an instant. For me these incidents stopped about 10 years ago after I started to practice the Jesus Prayer from day to day at the beginning and daily later. Some light depression I had now and then also vanished. I had experienced even more, lets say "weird" situations than this but I usually do not share. It seems that you are in a good path now.

Jerome Reiter Here is a thought for you friend. God is also justice. If they are not going to accept Jesus' sacrifice for us on the cross, they will have to bear God's wrath for themselves. Jesus came to rescue us! Every person in human history needs Him! But without Him, we are dead in sin. That is God's love right there: Jesus Christ! If they spent the little time on Earth loving themselves or putting created things in the place of God, and rejecting Jesus; why should they be rewarded with an eternity with God? God wants our hearts, and He wants us living for Him because we are fulfilled in Him, He is all we need. And if your heart is not for God, then where is the treasure of your heart? Those that live life apart from an eternal, just, holy, and loving God, will get what they reaped for their 80 or so years on Earth in the end. An eternity without God. And thanks be to God for giving us Jesus Christ! I encourage you to get to know Jesus friend, he offers something nobody in history could ever dream of offering!

It’s when we celebrate Christmas, but I’m sure it’s kinda widely known among Christians that Jesus wasn’t actually born in December. I think it was April actually. I don’t know why we celebrate in December though.
