Thank you for this upload. Good to see the lower rankers of 1991 here. Pat and Mick were two British DJs and had a hit here in the UK with that song. I'm surprised Heart's 'Secret' did very bad in the charts there. It wasn't a hit here, but it deserved much more. Vanilla Ice certainly weared off with popularity. Saffire's song is very decent. The Simpsons had two Top 10 hits here in the UK. Amazing as it wasn't even on Terrestrial TV here ar the time. Candyman is one thirsty man isn't he? Some of these songs do suffer with bad production - not sure if they were only Grade E artists or they've aged badly. Shocked the Pet Shop Boys didn't have any more big hits in the US. Peabo Bryson had a good ballad here. Warrant are fairly underrated and only really remembered for 'I Saw Red' and 'Cherry Pie'. 'Hey Stoopid' by Alice Cooper is my fav of the list. Great bit of stadium rock. I guess the Americans didn't warm to Erasure like Europe did. 'Chorus' is my second favourite with perhaps 'Secret' by Heart as my third favourite. Jinny's 'Keep Warm' was a big hit here in summer 1995, albeit in a remix. I'm shocked Crowded House flopped there. The Committments on the CD soundtrack features 1993 Eurovision winner Niamh Kavanagh on there. The KLF had a big hit here with 'What Time Is Love'. Again I echo about Tom Petty. That was popular at the time. Cathy Dennis was like God here at that time. This is like a weird transition between the 1980s and 1990s, but not there quite yet. Even the mainstream hits of that year that we all know and love were in the same phase.
I've mentioned before that the Volume 2 videos are more fun than the chart toppers. But this one is even better because it includes my favorite song back in 1991 (and still in my top 5 of all time): "One in a Million" by Trixter. I finally got to see it live in August of this year (although it was PJ Farley solo and not the full band). So many other awesome songs represented here. I was excited to hear "In Your Arms" by Little Caesar, "Primal Scream" by Motley Crue, "Into the Great Wide Open" by Tom Petty, and several others. Keep up the great work!
These are the songs, that for someone, mean more than the top 40 hits, or even the top 10, because at the time they heard it and adopted it, it was THEIRS... like "Hey, that's my song!" theirs. It defined a moment of life for them that they had a brighter memory for than just the repeated songs. Keep going.
HELLOOOO O DJ FRANCIS COMO VA LA VIDA MUY BUEN VIDEO CANCIONES VERY GOOOOD FELICITACIONES Y GRACIAS TOTALES SALUDOS DESDE MUY LEJOS 👏👏👏🤗🤗🎵🎧🎼💃💃💃💯👍👍👍💯💯💯👍
These are more interesting videos because it's not the songs that get remembered. There are usually at least a couple in there that you forgot you liked.

This is brilliant. Thank you for spotlighting these songs.

Great to see you are doing USA Songs Volume 2 again! I love those videos.

Awesome!! Love the volume 2 series!
Most of these songs takes me back to the era of THE BOX (music television YOU control).
Thank you for this compilation. I only wish you mentioned the chart positions. 💛

Exelentes videos pero por favor, crea play list por década please !!!
I just find it amusing that one of my Top 5 songs of 1991 was "This Is Ponderous" by 2NU🤔👍
Only Tom Petty 13:50, Gary Moore 2:20, and the Commitments 12:36 kept their high standards. The rest is silence......
Did I miss it or was A Day In my Life Without You, by Lisette melendez, missing?
It peaked at #49. This video is for the songs which peaked between #51 and #100 only. It's not a missing.
Remember all the hair metal ones.
Great but should be with Peak Positions at least 👍🤔
Ponderous. Great weird song
If the charts were done like 1999 and beyond, there would have been many country songs on the bottom.
Hip Hop is a nightmare
WOW Tom Petty - Into great wide open a volume 2 ????
I was surprised too because the video was very popular on MTV.
Bette Midler is so pretty!
🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸😙😙😙😙😙✌✌✌✌✌✌✌✌✌✌
Good ! Algum brasileiro aqui ???
Is it bad that I only knew one song and didn’t know 80% of those artists!?!
proof that this was one of the worst periods inn music
There’s actually some really good songs I wouldn’t say this was the worst decade in music later 200s generation music suck
