I believe he might be Agent 6...an Ort-Meyer clone with whom 47 had a brotherly bond and together they were a powerful assassination team.
@@ripvanwinkle654 Ort Meyer is the doctor who created and raised Agent 47 and Agent 6.
"I have found that whoever wields the sword decides who dolds the pen"
Idk about everybody else but in my opinion Viktor seemed like such an underused character, he was one of the only well written targets and they only had one mission to do it, the only other target who’s written just as well in the first game is Erich Soders, and they needed the whole game to write his character, but they only needed one cutscene to make Viktor one of the best written targets in Hitman 2016
I personally liked Don Yates and Athena savalas, both are mentioned throughout the game until you kill them
@Swamp Expert Extraordinaire cross breaking down when you confront him added so much to his character
@@Motivatededits0 not only his confrontation with you but also the fact you can make him kill the other target in the same way he killed before just by making them meet
Why is Viktor looking so sad at 1:17 lmao
It's just a bad animation. Just like that teeth shot when Subject 6 is sitting in the backseat of a herald's car.
47 didn't kill Viktor. Lucas's insult slowly destroyed him over the next 24 hours.
BEST fucking line ever and this game man is amazing! the story and writing are great
Man I really hope Hitman 3 was successful enough that hitman 4 will bring back these high quality cutscenes they look so nice. Or even if project 007 does well they might be able to since theyre doing 007 before hitman 4
Is it just me or Hitman 1 cutscenes are far better than Hitman 3
Hitman 1 they used CGI. Hitman 3 they used the ingame engine.
@@someopinionateddirt6561 could be related to the fact that Hitman 1 was published by Square Enix but IOI went independent during Hitman 2 and 3 and has less budget.
Atleast Hitman 3 has cutscenes. Hitman 2 on the other hand has slideshows.
I do like myself some story, but in all honesty Hitman 2's "cutscenes" were unbearable to watch especially after what I've seen from Hitman 1.
Subject 6.... His name was subject 6
This guy (Lucas Grey) is the inspiration. He is one of the best!! He can remember everything, every inch of it!
i wish hitman 3 didn’t use the character models for the cutscenes
The people who made these cinematics were part of a division at Square Enix, when IO bought themselves free, their talent unfortunately could not come along with them.
Does anyone think that Lucas knows that Novikov is going to be killed by 47?
12:18 PM 9/18/2016 Victor...? Fashion show? I'm still here. Every time he says Victor I want everyone to say the name Victoria instead and tell me what you think of story/plot now?
How the Moscow? 0:17
Late but I’m pretty sure novikov had some dirt on him that was going to be discovered
Secret Hint?
Why did Novikov did this in the first place? he was an providence agent especially giving this to a man who killed someone in Russia in a Military base thats nearly impossible
Novikov was not a Providence asset, that's the point. He was in charge of the IAGO Group, but he had no links and therefore no protection, from Providence. The information he gives to Grey, is all the information IAGO has learned about Providence.
@@bobpage6597 i think he was in hitman 2 there was a cutscene where someone from the Elite says they killed novikov
@@Blackpanther-cr2vr He is mentioned by Carl Ingram to Lucas Grey in Hitman 2 only in passing as a victim that Lucas Grey had killed as an example - but he had no official connection to Providence whatsoever - he wasn't an operative, and he wasn't a Herald (senior member). When you go and read up Novikov's bio on the Hitman wiki, it confirms his only appearance is in HITMAN (not HM2), and that he was never a member of Providence.
😁🤗😻💋
I love love love the hitman reboot, but I wish it had stayed a political thriller in line with Hitman 1. I think 2 and 3 got a bit too fantastical with its story, although it is still compelling. Its also a shame they had to sack off the CGI because they didn't have the budget, because the cinematics were fucking excellent and hitman 3s are just incredibly goofy.
I think the story had to go that way because Grey finally revealed himself
@@olofacosta3192 nah i dont think gray changes anything. providence was a really compelling and realistic villain and they couldve pulled on so many more real life sources to create more characters and scenarios. instead they depicted them like marvel villains from 2 onwards.
Those facial animations are excellent.
Novikov is so proud to reveal his intel to Grey--then suddenly is shut down by Grey's demeaning comment about the fashion show.
You can see it all so clearly in their faces.
:{
And the fact that he is texting while speaking to him.
That's why I love these cutscenes. The animators avoided a pitfall that annoys me in so many other movies, they OVER-animate everything. They exaggerate the features and add facial movements no human does in real life, like eyebrow squeezing Visari does in the intro to killzone 2 for instance.
Humans are expressive, but we don't activate every muscle all the time, and when we're sincerely emotional, we restrain parts of ourselves. The lead in True Detective s3 doesn't need to work his whole face to convince me his feelings are real. CGI artists spend too much time looking at their creations and forget that.
And the disrespect he gives him by texting and talking to him.
@@Mii.. The texting was his instruction to his deputy, hacktivist Olivia Hall, to "leak the names"; the names of the self-same Novikov and Dalia. It is the leaks that reveal to MI6 that Novikov and Dalia plan to hand over a list of MI6 agents at an auction, so it contracts the ICA to have the duo eliminated. After the first four missions of Hitman, we learn that Lucas Grey was covertly manipulating the ICA to eliminate Providence operatives.
