so too the point reaction. i felt that too, that i was on a journey and i could not get out unless i hit the pauze button. this song pulls so much energy from you, it almost felt like love making. So weird to feel that in a song, it was a new experience to me.

I am writing at the end of July, 2022 - missed this video when you released it some time ago. I'll have to watch the video commentary again from the start as I missed what triggered Savio's rant about anti-Americanism , et al. especially since this song itself is not political or controversial outside of those who bashed it for being as Savio correctly identified, as a song beyond "romance" and it was indeed a potent "aphrodisiac". That's appropriate as it was also "The Summer of Love" - 1967 and the "hippies" of California and other locations like NYC, are changing the American social and political culture including the music very profoundly. Artists like Morrison are a shock to the senses of unfortunate humans stuck to a cultural history that is rapidly becoming irrelevant as the new mostly young voices drown out what came before.
Bear with my long winded comments please, but a few other points:
    1. I actually checked the other comments through 7/30/22 and nobody else has revealed that this is one of The Door's best known classics that was NOT written by Jim Morrison. This song, music and lyrics, was composed by their great vastly underrated guitarist Robby Krieger. It really puts on display how the band members behind the iconic Morrison were largely ignored. Mostly an instrumental song and the organ of Ray Manzarek, Krieger's guitar, and the drumming of John Densmore is front and center and shows what a great BAND they were, and Morrison didn't even write the song.
It's one of many songs featured on You Tube reactions to classic rock that I can't help get weepy too. It was the soundtrack of the prime of my youth and I just turned 70 which turns nostalgia like this into an especially emotional event. "Light My Fire" exploded across our radios in 1967 - we'd never heard anything like it and the whole world who had access to this music were blown away by it.
I challenge you to react to the 2 early Door's songs that exhibit Jim Morrison at his edgiest - they are performance art focusing on his dramatic "readings" of what in effect was updated beat poetry updated to the tumultuous late 60's in the USA, performed over haunting musical backgrounds. Those songs are "The End" from the 1st album, and "When the Music's Over" from the 2nd. Neither of them are very accessible to 1st time listeners, but with some modest repeated listening, they become emblazoned upon heart and soul. Both are over 10 minutes in length - they are hauntingly frightening, and beautiful. "The End" was prominently on display in key scenes of Francis Ford Coppola's classic anti-war film "Apocalypse Now" - so you will recognize it if you've ever been attached to that film.
And finally, I must confess to a mad crush on Kirti - she lights my fire as a dirty old man but also intellectually. Please forgive me for my confession Savio. But the plain fact is I have enormous respect for both of you despite being full of envy, jealousy, and admiration that you were able to meet this special woman and form a good life with her. Love to you both..

Love how hearing certain songs are like smelling a scent that takes one back to the first time of experiencing it. For me, I’m remembering being a 10 yr old boy buying a “45” record and bringing it back to play on my little turntable. Then it was the amazement of how the songs keep getting better and better, like going up and up on a staircase, and this was the best song I ever heard. It still thrills me today !

By chance, I’m watching this on 04 Jan 21, which is 54 years to the day that their eponymous first album was released. An amazing body of work for a band that had a recording life of just over 4 years, with Morrison at the helm (the surviving members recorded two albums after his passing, on 03 July 71).

Best thing about Enoma is that they don't interrupt the songs. It just ruins the flow of the song when reaction channels do that. You can make your comments, ask questions, give your opinions and show your personality AFTER the song is done.

    • @garbageday587

Exactly. Pausing during a song is retarded and annoying. Songs last just a few minutes those other reactors can wait that the songs are over and then comment afterwards . That couple dies it the right way that's why I subscribed to their channel and I won't to those who pauses to comment.

There is a huge difference to being "anti American" and not understanding the connections a certain culture has with a song... a song can be a reflection of a certain time period in a culture, that someone who didn't experience can not connect. I don't understand those who claim "anti American", it's puzzling. I appreciate your channel to experience the view of some of my favorite music from someone with a different background... if Enoma claimed to connect and understand all of it, it would not be genuine.
