No it's not an arduino project but you can make it on arduino as well we are using programming over here and the programming is done in 8051 microcontroller

As a inductive load I am using a choke coil over here which we generally used in the tubelight . But nowadays there is LED light but earlier we use to use the tube light and in that tubelight we use to use the choke and that choke I am using over here
