Exactly i've listen to this band for ten years of my life then someone hears about them and bitchs about how much they "changed and need to go back to what they used to be" im glad tey took this new step in their music career it shows me that as time goes on they mature and learn more about what they can and can not do and it is very small what they can not do
thank you very much for your answer! with the name of the artist I will definitely find that picture^^ and ya thank you for accepting my opinion, maybe it needs some years for me to like that remake
The image is from a painting by beksinski. I am using his art in my horror game as well as diru's music since I love them both so much :-) If anyone is interested in that kind of combination they can check out some gameplay on my channel.
The guitar melody from the outro in the original is still there too. At first I couldn't make any connections between the two either, but the more I listened the more I heard the similarities.
the growls definitely have a more whistle-like tone to them, I noticed. For some reason, this song reminded me of "Crewcabanger" by Chelsea Grin. go check it out and see what I mean. Kyo's growls sound similar to that of the Chelsea Grin's (forgot his name) vocalist.
Oh god thanks for the lyrics, I just knew they were changed. Because I couldn't hear "migi te de sayounara... " in the original, and it kept bugging me. You made the dropping of my SAN points stop a little.
This is so good, this is to me what the point of a remake is. To almost recreate the song from scratch. I am slightly disappointed with their new cd "The Unraveling", mainly because I was expecting a more extreme sound like this song.
you can hear a downtuned version of the riff near the middle, the melody in the part where kyo sings the only time is the same as the older version, and the beats and rythm are remotely similar, near the beginning. Different but similar at the same time.
The picture is a painting by Zdzislaw Beksinski. Unfortunately, he didn't like naming his creations, so you will have to find it by searching in an online gallery or something. And IMO Tsumi to Batsu was brilliant, but it's ok everyone is entitled an opinion :)
This song sounds as though it was already finished before Kyo had the surgery, in my opinion. It sounds very similar to the style used on Dum Spiro Spero.
It's actually very similar. Just because it's metal-ized and played with some downtuned gutiars doesn't mean they made a new song. This one kind of remembers me of Zan on the way they remade it.
Paso que dejaron de hacer la música para la popularidad y empezaron a trabajar para ellos mismos y sus gustos. Hace años que diru tomo ese camino, ya ni hacen el intento de ganar mas fans, simplemente hacen la música que quieren.
(1) We had duct taped a knife to the end of a ten foot metal pole for the sole, macabre purpose of puncturing -- and relieving the pressure within -- the extremely bloated dog corpse that was wedged between the joists under our house.
I'm speaking about the remake - I get comfused by it's name, I still don't know if the new version of Tsumi to Batsu is called Tsumi to Batsu or Mitsu to Tsuba or...whatever^^
it was a joke dude, because whenever a remake is released some ppl freak out as if the version they did like would disappear when a new one that they didn't like came out. they're like "wow this new version ruined it now i can never listen to the old one again"
dude, seriously? You're going to say you were worried about it after Tsumi no Batsu was released YEARS ago?? they dont even do the same style music anymore ww
My favorite band, and my favorite painter. Guy, I've got to say, You're A Genious.
So happy with the direction that they're going.
ME TOO XD

Now this is the Dir en Grey I love
I have been waiting for this ever since they started revamping their old songs. Amazing.
I haven't listened to these guys since 2007... times sure have changed.. o_O
That's right...and I hate those people - especially those that are always whining about Dir en Grey not being Visual Kei anymore
DEG is visual kei again
@@ganneha1356 but still metal x) best of both world

Fantastic ! Beautiful and expresive music !
Kyo is an onslaught of pure brutality. Love this band!!
Thank you very much for helping me to discover another sick artist and his macabre work. I've already started a few new dark fantasy speed paintings.
You probably haven't heard new Tsumi to Batsu live if you think it sucks. New Tsumi to Batsu live is mindblowing.
I like their newer stuff. This is fucking phenomenal!
vizuaru-kei版Kiri to Mayu death metal版Kiri toMayu結成当初から同じメンバーでジャンルを飛び超えてるバンドは他に存在しているだろうか。

the sound a heart makes - the sound of a beating heart
yeah, dude is great, always thought his art went well with dir en grey's sound so that's why I put it here
The painting is done by Zdzisław Beksiński in case anyone wondered.
yay, they translated the lyrics in the booklet! How kind of them.
thank you very much for your answer! with the name of the artist I will definitely find that picture^^

In the past 7 years I've been listening to them they have not once disappointed me! and they never will!
Seems like it's too heavy for some of the normies

OHH GOOODDD
No fuckin' way. Kiri to Mayu is a nice song. Both versions are good to me.
the growls definitely have a more whistle-like tone to them, I noticed. For some reason, this song reminded me of "Crewcabanger" by Chelsea Grin. go check it out and see what I mean. Kyo's growls sound similar to that of the Chelsea Grin's (forgot his name) vocalist.
The song fits perfectly with the art, I actually thought it was one of the artworks for Rinkaku at first.
tsumi to batsu was just released barely over a year ago. looking at my music library, that's pretty fresh
AAAAAAA MY NECK IS ACHING
Karma was for sure the best song on the cd.
What? New Tsumi to batsu is one of the best songs ever ⊙_⊙
It's a painting by Zdzisław Beksiński, I believe his pictures don't have names so just search for his name.
you think in the same way as Kaoru ;D but I am glad for both versions of course.
Oh god thanks for the lyrics, I just knew they were changed. Because I couldn't hear "migi te de sayounara... " in the original, and it kept bugging me. You made the dropping of my SAN points stop a little.
"migi te de sayounara".. Hm, 'Farewell to the right'? :P
and this is your opinion^^ for me is kiri to mayu one of the best songs ever
This is so good, this is to me what the point of a remake is. To almost recreate the song from scratch. I am slightly disappointed with their new cd "The Unraveling", mainly because I was expecting a more extreme sound like this song.
Dude rinkaku is so good, it's def better then the unraveling.
Thanks Alot
ah, that's right. Thanks

Fucking Brutal ! I fucking love this band.
you can hear a downtuned version of the riff near the middle, the melody in the part where kyo sings the only time is the same as the older version, and the beats and rythm are remotely similar, near the beginning. Different but similar at the same time.
don't ever deny Kyo
They're going in the right direction.
agreed, i was just thinking the same thing while reading these comments
I love you song
I love you too
also, people have been getting their rinkakus since yesterday,so don't know if I should call it a leak, just early arrival

^ this, more than anything! it's not the 19th in Japan yet, either!

Awesome song, beautiful artwork may i know the source of the artwork?
Holy tits I love this version.
So that we can forget Dir en grey's roots? Are you kidding me?
The original Tsumi to Batsu is from... like... 1998-1999 I think. That's what she was probably referring to.
3 ver. now lol
Did I just hear Diru Deathcore?!
NICE! And I normally HATE deathcore!
I think he's talking about the new version that came out a year and a half ago.
Bad ass, by the way I must know as artist, is that artwork the front cover art or is this from something else?
I'm speaking about the remake - I get comfused by it's name, I still don't know if the new version of Tsumi to Batsu is called Tsumi to Batsu or Mitsu to Tsuba or...whatever^^
They are the same obviously, but the sound is slightly different. Sounding a little more distorted.
please i really hope they dont redo drain away.
Maxieyi it would fucking rock wdym
they won't but they don't want to
Alex Koehler is the vocalist for Chelsea Grin :)
