It worked for me. People are probably forgetting to exit the message, hold to it and tap on Mark as Unread. I have an iPhone FYI.

Turn off the internet , read the message, then clear all my browsing history and cookies except saved password and bookmarks and closing my browser before turning the internet back on seems to work for me. I do this from my laptop

It only work 1 private message, but doesnt work with group chats but it does work if you clear your messenger data after reading.

I heard the technique was to put the message on archive and then read while still in archive. Just don’t reply or else it’s gonna show that u alrdy read it👍

All you have to do on Android is going into your phones 'settings,' chose 'notifications,' scroll down to 'advance settings' and tap on it. Then tap on 'notification history' and all the chats from people messaging you will be there. I don't know how to do it for iphone though

It should work for Android. I bought both an android and iphone so for all my tutorials I can test it on both (and mention and differences if there are any)
