I really enjoyed this, since this was an optional choice, and if you keep going, she basically opens up to you. (Also, the game kept basically asking if I was sure if I wanted to keep going forward, giving a lot of back arrows.)
I’m glad that I decided to do the optional story objectives.
This was one of the best parts of 2.3 for me. (Besides the giant penacony group chat, that was funny as fuck XD)

So is that a glimp of TB's memory ? She says that was an Illusion but TB seems to remember something, I mean first time they meet they cried after waking up and all dialogue options point out they met before, plus that was the first time TB got red text on there dialogue option
Finally! Somebody else talking about the lore implications of this scene. Everyone is so focused about it being HI3 reference. They're so annoying. HoYoverse has always been careful about their world building so this is likely more than a reference. The trailblazer may have already met Bosenmori before. Or maybe it's some time travel stuff because of Finality.
The fact that we are getting some interesting Lore stuff from the new endgame mode and the implications that HSR's is cyclical does make one wonder a Lot of things. The meaning of the red text too. @@traveleramongstars4600

@@adriantepes4355 Wait, what? No, things in art are most often intentional. There have been at least four separate instances of scenes directly involving Acheron which have used tracks from HI3rd. One of them, "For Kevin", used in the scene where Welt and Acheron talk, Welt brings up specific moments in HI3rd's story (as well as Kevin himself), Acheron responding by saying how her own past relates to this. Another instance was in the scene where her true name was revealed, a track very iconic to Raiden Mei's character. Yet another was in one of her character trailers, which has *many* direct references to HI3rd, you can hear not only one theme but the first few notes of another when panning to one of the blades. Each of these instances have been with careful intent, if they were comfortable just reusing music for the sake of it sounding beautiful you would expect it to happen a lot more often and with scenes where it would not be considered relevant.
The scene in this video, too, rises out of the player insisting that we know her from somewhere else, or at least someone who looked like her. The options which players who have experienced that game before would gravitate towards. There's no need to dismiss connections people draw when the writers themselves encourage it (further supported by the developers bringing up HI3rd in the 2.0 livestream and saying there will be things there for veteran players to appreciate)

Its so sad that Mei ended up in the same Universe that Welt did, yet cannot remember the world itself due to the nihility. It makes me wonder how many other characters made it through to this other universe.
So what does the red text mean? Can anyone finally figure it out? Was it acheron manipulating the dream all along and this scene is us finally doing it?

@@izzulazrizal702 quite honestly finding the exact screenshot would take far too much effort than it's worth but if you played the main story when you speak to Welt alone he asks you to describe who you're talking about and you want to say Acheron but the red dialogue prevents you

This wasn’t really hidden for me. I’ve waited since the beginning of Penacony for Mei senpai to finally reveal herself. People were saying this was a completely different game, that Acheron has no attachments to HI3, but I always disagreed. The way that I cried when she finally confirmed that she is THE Raiden Mei 😭💜 even thought she might not completely remember who she was in every universe but one thing that never changed is that she will always “Fight for all that is beautiful in the world” (HI3 slogan)
I missed this, and I’m kinda pissed… why is something like this even optional?

@@khandakermainul8883red text was an answer from a different universe. If Acheron spoke in red text she was answering a line other than the one you picked as a dialogue. I’m not sure what it means here but probably it means you actually meet her or someone like her in the past
