The House scene in the UK is great, but the people it attracts sometimes, I can agree, make you not want to go out. In my opinion the best house scenes, musically and socially are Netherlands, belgium, spain, USA(detroit, chicago, boston).

spain? i think the house scene in spain is starting to convert into a poshy-artificial thing, famous-wanna-be-like/around. It started as a rather low-class thing and it's evolving into a europe-inspired artificial mask with spanish cliches. I think we really need good clubs, good music-culture and good promoters who hold good, open-mind and fresh parties so people can evolve around the house beats.
