Yet another compilation I had no idea existed. I think colleges should offer Media Studies credits, watching your channel. Finally, a heartfelt RIP to Freddie Prinze. He would've been right up there with Carlin and Pryor.
Any 1976 uploads are welcome in my department; especially the cartoons and kid shows. Same goes for 1972 - I'll be first in line for anything you upload ... even if it's just a compilation of sitcoms. Thanks for the uploads! :-)
I remember how I would pick and choose time slot’s between CBS, ABC, and NBC because most of what they all had I didn’t like, but each network had at least one that I liked so at 8 am this was coming on on ABC and at 8:30 am this other one I liked came on on CBS, etc. None of the networks had a lineup where I liked all of them. They all had a few Saturday morning gems and the rest were garbage. It’s probably why I don’t remember most of these. Land of the Lost is one of the few I do remember. The Ant and the Aardvark I still remember too. I’d still watch it today because it was hilarious.
Land of Lost was indeed very well done, all things considered. I was 12 in 1976. Pink Panther, Bugs, Daffy, HR Puf Lidsville, all tops in my book. But you're right, most of them were pure garbage. Thoughtlessly written, cheap, and dashed off.
It was so hard ..the first fomo we were delt in life ! Just think it was the richest in society to even have a vcr and blank tapes to record in the early to mid 80s it was Definitely a privilege ...
Another awesome video! I remember watching all of these show, especially “Big John Little John” and “The Kids From Caper”. Those were two of my favorites. I was 11 years old in 1976.
So, I’ve told my family that if I’m ever incapacitated and unable to function that they just need to prop me in front of a screen and just play your channel. I’ll be just fine.
NBC Saturday Morning Cartoon Lineup 1975 Time Stamps 0:00 opening and Monster 👹 Squad 1:06:43 Land of the Lost 1:36:25 Big John, Little John 2:05:04 The Kids from C.A.P.E.R. 2:36:16 closing
KIDS FROM C.A.P.E.R. Doomsday was the shizz. I NEVER missed Muggsy. Gotta love a show with a ghetto kid named Clytemnestra. And Ben Masters? I'm gonna keep things "rated G" in the name of good taste...
You said Cartoon Lineup. Outside of Woody & Pink, everything else was Live-Action in 1976 for NBC. By 1977, they got rid of the Live-Action and went all Toons.
Btw I just wanted you to know that Eggo makes a great waffle and syrup flavored cereal. Just in case you needed an idea for a future Cereal Man ep. I predict at least a B!
Theres no 76 ABC sorry, too many cartoons are blocked on the list. If you send me donation or support the channel, I could send it to you via email for your own personal enjoyment.
That RIF: Reading Is Fundamental thing, wow. Little ghetto kid walking around all mopey and depressed. Hanging around some dirty waterfront. Then he sees the magic book van with all that perfectly racially balanced gang of kids, clamoring for free books. So he grabs that book, 'I AM SOMEBODY' and wham, he got a totally new life. Haven't seen this sad PSA since the 70s! I'd love to know what the real life outcome was for that poor little urban boy? Now a days, he'd a been put on pills, probably Prozac, or ADHD pills, or possibly the gender kind.
Teravle native american appropriation ..not my favorite story trope on lotl ..i live the show and am not sending hate ether as a part native american myself, i do not see a problem with it .i think cansel culture is b.s. is rediculas if you can find a bative that can act and wants to play the roll great but it should be who imbodies the carictore and brings it to life like a flower blooming ...race orientation no of it should matter only your carictore
@ MONE QQ: ANY CARTOON BLOCKS OVER 5HRS ( IN YOUR ARCHIVES..WOULD BE HUUUGE FOR SAT-SUN :EX: HANNA BARBARA/TEX AVERY "EX: QUIKY KOALA..KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK..CAUSE PPL ARE WATCHIN!!!

One of the actors from Monster 👹 Squad was Fred Grandy who would after this show played the loveable Gopher on Aaron Spelling 's Love Boat 🚢.
Thx sooooo much for the great memories, and reliving my awesome childhood..
Great job on these videos. I've collected tv programming with commercials for awhile now and these are well done.
Glad you like them!
So cool! I watched a lot of these shows back then... So many great memories.

I know this comment is ancient and (probably?) a joke, but now I'm definitely considering doing this lol
Bizarre
Depression is a kicker
There aren't toy stores like Toys R Us anymore. Toys are pretty much all virtual now.
1976 the year my parents graduate from high school and the most popular year always depicted in films
Look up Sarah MacDonnel from Friends n Star Trek 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
lol
Hard to believe that's Freddie prinze Jr's dad really sad that he took his own life way too young.
My friend Linda can’t wait either!!!

I've heard of Shasta...never got any, but Hires Rootbeer, is my all time favorite
I've heard Shasta and hires they were both good soda pop to drink
Had Shasta all the time when I was a kid. My Mom always had Tab. My Dad's favorite was the Shasta cream soda.
@@speciale517 my dad always told me to try Shasta if I ever saw it.
I tried Tab, I like Mr Pibb though
Awesome thank you so much can’t wait to see it!!!!
It seems appropriate that someone named Alice Ghostley would be on The Monster Squad.
She was a witch on Bewitched.
I was born in 76!
I remember the Toys r us Ad
HOLY CRAP LAND OF THE LOST!!!

R.I.P Freddie Prinze ♥ ❤
RIP
Monster 👹 Squad was a notable show & if you don't agree with me just look at the opening credits .
'76 must have been the peak of live action on Saturday morning.
lol I think so, because they died out in 80s with a few exceptions
More like live-action overload. Fred Silverman stepped in and replaced two series with reruns of cartoons.
Cool Kodak magical everyone be safe in Christ God Bless everyone
So this is what people were watching the day that I was born...
yep
You said Cartoon Lineup. Outside of Woody & Pink, everything else was Live-Action in 1976 for NBC. By 1977, they got rid of the Live-Action and went all Toons.
Magic Mountain was also the home of CBS' s "Way Out Games".
Robbie Ol Boy from the Brady Bunch Little John Wiz Michaelangelo Rist😁🤣
Young Late Great Kristoff St John 😂😂😂😂😂

Btw I just wanted you to know that Eggo makes a great waffle and syrup flavored cereal. Just in case you needed an idea for a future Cereal Man ep. I predict at least a B!
Yes you did. My brothers and I are so grateful we were children in an analog world.
One because of cartoons the rest was a homophobic Christian control hell
yucky@@JD37
NBC might wanna air Woody Woodpecker again now that it's in the Universal family.
hope so
How come other people can come and go in the Land of the Lost? Just like Gilligan Island. LOL
lol good question
I think they stopped the "guests" the next year.
Lil Jon YEAAH OKAAY WHAT!
That Saturday morning was crap I was glad I was a 80s kid
Nah it was great. The 80's stuff was all just to sell toys.
