I know this is an older video, but I happened to watch it tonight as I opened and tried a bottle of this gin. I found it so smooth, and I actually said to my friend that it had a faint taste of gooseberry, which I read later is one of the notes in this. I didn’t find it earthy at all. Very drinkable and refreshing. My friend and I loved it.
I bought a set with 50ml samples of original, orange, quince and rubharb. I think this is a gin floral and kind of sweet. No cocoa or earthy. Not being a critic only my personal opinion.love the channel. Salud🍻
Hi Bobby, I would check out no 3 gin from Berry Bros and Rudd - highly recommended - thanks for your videos has helped me get start getting into gin cheers !
Hello Bobby, this is one of my favourite gin. I like smell of it, and I like to drink it with tonic and big chunk of ice, garnish with peace of rosemary and one slice of lime. My peace of late evening heaven.
Thanks for your comment Charlie Clarke and glad to have you aboard! I know gin has not really taken off yet over there. I’m not sure of the best places to get it I’m afraid but when I film my next video, I will put it out there to my American subscribers to see if they can offer any advice. In my experience, my US gin fans are very diligent and helpful on these kind of matters so I am sure we will get you an answer! 😊👍
you probably dont give a shit but does any of you know of a trick to get back into an instagram account? I was dumb forgot the password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me
@Jameson Cade I really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and im in the hacking process atm. I see it takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Ha ha I’ve only just got around to watching this, thanks for the shout out. I saw you not had much of the ungava. Feel free to post it over to me. I got a creamy vanilla type flavour myself. I was pleasantly surprised with this one.
Jolly good show, Bobby! This one sounds interesting, maybe a good "winter" Gin? Haven't seen it around these parts though... I am a fan of the light Fever Tree. I like my G&T's with more G than T and that stuff works well. 👍
Shawn Seesengood Whitley Neill just came into the Texas market they just started importing to the US for the first time and hopefully will beat other flavored Gins in the market
Hello Bobby. Another nice and very entertaining review. Congrats on turning 500 followers. It keeps ticking up. Thats proof of nice work. In reference to your blind taste the other day, would you repeat it with tonic? I think your selection was quite representative. I would really like to see what happens when tonic comes to play. If you still takes request I am right now drinking Thomas Dakins gin. Love to see what you think. Gin with horseradish no less. Very interesting. It even has a cork just to tease you. And its not to bad priced. Further suggestions for upcoming reviews, imho: Ferdinand Saars gin - German and thereby expensive but utterly lovely nonetheless. Nikka Coffey gin - Japanese and extremely piney. I am almost through the first bottle but still not sure about this gin... Greenhook Ginsmith is still pending on your end, Bobby. A truly lovely American gin. And contrary to Aviation (imho is gin for those that don't like gin, like my girlfriend that loves it), Greenhook manage to be both a proper gin and american... Berg as in Mr. Ryan is Canadian I think... If you like to get North Irish try Boatyard double gin. Quite refreshing and very much gin. Like a lot! Goes either way... Today I mange to get my hands on Beefeater Crown Jewel gin. It is literary hell to acquire this feat in Scandinavia. You live in London and has some easier access to it I presume. Is not cheap, its 50% ABV and does not have the tea taste that Beefeater 24 has. Would love to se it reviewed by you. Keep it up, Bobby and thank you very much.
HI Mats thanks very much for your message. The blind test was actually with tonic, I just pre-mixed it rather than pouring it on screen. It's interesting that you should mention Thomas Dakin as I have just filmed a video of it. I have heard about it from a few different people but I have to say I wasn't a big fan of it I'm afraid. It's a very unique taste and although many people like it, it just wasn't for me unfortunately. Thanks for all the other recommendations, my list is overflowing at the moment but I will definitely do my best to get through all of these. Thanks again for your continued support Mats 👍🙂

Thank you for sparking my interest in gin! Do you have any advice on getting access to gin that is not commonly found in US stores? Cheers!

Can you get your hands on empress 1908 gin? It is a fun one. And what about the St. George trio of gins?
Thanks Trevor. I will endeavour to find to track some down👍
No Nonsense Gin Reviews awesome! Let me know if I can help.
You should do a review on Monks hemp infused gin ⚡️

One of the few gins I really don't like at all.
Yeah it’s a strange one this. Maybe an acquired taste
Gin in a tin sounds spiffing
Not a fan of any of there gins tbh 😝
I can definitely understand why. They are certainly not for everyone.
