In this AU Tails reprogrammed Metal Sonic, but he still has memories of how awful Eggman treated him. Tails also added a voice box so he could talk and express his emotions, but Sonic doesn’t trust Metal because reprogrammed or not he’s still Eggman’s creation. So metal is going to school to try to learn about the world he lives is, and also to learn how to be a hero.
