I had Master 2 and Master 3, however, the biggest problem I have is the fact there is no onboard memory. I work in a field where confidentiality is critical, thus no 3rd party software programs can be installed without approval. This means my Master 3's horizon scroll will forever be scrolling in the inverse direction in Excel. Please add the onboard memory for Master 4 if you are listening.

One thing I would love to have on their future MX Master 4 is an upgraded polling rate. The current polling rate for these mice makes me feel like I'm lagging when I'm using my high-refresh rate monitors. Everything else about this mouse is perfect: great body, texture, scroll wheel, and clicks are amazing... it's just that I notice my mouse lagging every other second on my screen. It's quite obtrusive especially when I need accuracy and precision whenever I do my design work.
Yeah, but how they get such great battery life is by having a low polling rate. Now, they could introduce a changeable one in settings, but I have the feeling they don't intend to.
I agree 100%. I have this mouse, and switching from my previous mouse with a 500hz polling rate was definitely noticeable. Not a deal breaker, but the cursor isn't as smooth or responsive as even a mid-tier wireless gaming mouse. (And for those who don't know, this mouse has a 125hz polling rate).

I just think that there might have been better improvements made after 3 yrs, light colors are easy to stain, the rubber under palm area got punctured easily on my mouse, there is no tactile feedback on the horizontal wheel, there is still no left-handed variant. Logitech do make cool tech but in recent years they got quite complacent in my eyes I would love to see an ergo keyboard without Numpad or an even better detachable one so i can put it on the left side, a mouse with lots of macros for productivity and other ideas but they do have overpriced models like mx craft and thats basically all.

I'm a logitech fan. Basically all my peripherals are logitech (mx master 3, mx keys, g502, space pilot pro, my speakers on two computers, web cam etc..) But I have to say, the logi options software is buggy af. It is almost the most important part of the mouse and key board. You really have to up the game.
The best gaming mouse i've had is not a gaming mouse lmao. Been playing with the mx master 2s for 4 years now and it's still rocking, prob i'll switch to the 3s soon!

I hope the rubber quality is a little bit better than previous models: I've had the right side rubber start scratching and getting nasty on my MX1 and 2.
My trusty G305 makes the Master 3 feel like old tech for this very reason. 125Hz just isn't enough, it's noticeably less precise and the amount of mis-clicks it causes is beyond frustrating.
Hello, I would love for you to add the 4 types of macro that the G Hub has, it would be very useful, the modes, without repetition, toggle, repeat when pressing and sequence, for example in premiere pro I use a macro that performs the down arrow and press u, if I want to do this repeatedly I have to fill the keyboard action with smart actions and that is not enough, since the maximum actions are 50, it would be very useful to have a toggle button and be able to turn it on and off whenever I want
we need ratchet scrolling on the thumb wheel, since free spin is really awkward for next/prev brower tab. either that or give us tilt left/right capabilty on the main wheel.
Got my 3s today - everything works well except the thumb scroll wheel; there is noticeable lag. Takes about 3-4 seconds for that scrolling to register. Is there a firmware update coming to address this?
Thank you Logitech for this sloppy update and for ignoring your customer base feedback. Scrolling issues and input lag are still still not adressed, but at least we have silent clicks (that nobody asked for)! And meanwhile the left handed edition is stil MIA...
Personally, everything they've addressed in this are the biggest issues I have. So this looks like a decent upgrade for me. Unfortunately, those minor improvements aren't worth the cost of a new one. I guess it's perfect for people who already don't have an MX Master 3 mouse. In truth, this is what the original MX 3 should have been. Nice upgrades, but not worth it.

Maybe give one of the Logitech G Lightspeed mice a go. Being gaming oriented they likely have a higher polling rate and lower latency.

My biggest problem with MX Master 3 is the rubber that becomes sticky after usage. Has this been tackled in the MX Master 3S?
What color? I used to have that a lot in my light grey one. But I got a black replacement and it's perfect.
The black MX 3 holds up pretty well. After about a year only the thumb spot needs cleaning. Dropped it a few times and also damaged the rubber

@@Ezio470 they did. The Logitech Lift. It's a lower end model. Uses AA battery. No magnetic scroll wheel. It does have quiet clicks though.
I'm waiting for a refresh of the MX Vertical. I want one with the magnetic scroll wheel found on the MX Master 3 / 3S and the quiet clicks of the 3S.
