Heeramandi has all my love and attention for now. The aesthetics, the dialogues, the music, the overall immersive world it creates - everything just sucked me in and I haven't been able to escape it yet.
So, here's another video from the series. This time, showcasing the Alamzeb's shayari (an Indo-Islamic poetry style), the way it has been adapted in 10 languages across the world. This poem, Ek Baar Dekh Lijiye, has significance in the series, for it shows both the romantic dreams in Alamzeb's eyes, as well as the hidden fire for revolution.
