Hey I really appreciate your videos, I'm new to the hobby and I bought a Valkyrie Mt. I've been looking for more videos, including information about tire choices and what diff fluids to run F/C/R. Thank you
Diff fluid is user/terrain dependant and then driving style and desired performance. There's a lot to consider such as vehicle weight with battery pack. The thicker the fluid, the slower, the internal gears turn. Starting with the center diff is normally where people go. Thicker center diff tends to transfer more power to the front causing the front wheels to lift. Rear differential thicker fluid will cause more equal traction between the wheels. Front differential fluid thicker depending upon steering angle can either increase or decrease and that is also dependent upon if your wheels are in contact with the ground or not. There's a lot that goes into differential fluid tuning and it is something that is a learned experience and that is heavily based upon your driving style. Your terrain, your tires, your vehicle weight your power system. So there's really no one and done answer. As I said above the center diff is normally where people start. This part of the hobby can get a little expensive to an extent in the beginning. And can become annoying, but it will also teach you how to work on your own stuff. Hopefully this answer is what you were looking for.
Hey guy I hope you had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year hope everybody in your family are happy keep the video calming my man cuz you don't want somebody to keep it real all the time but everything you say thank you Guy
I too tried some new tires today on a Kraton 6s . 17mm hex Warthogs seem pretty nice . They’re heavier than copperhead 2 s . The fireteams were $40/4 tires . They seem like they ll be good the way t they’re built with the thicker rubber / almost 90 degree outside edge . I imagine they’re designed like that to hold shape and stand firm when the padding smushes . 4s and 6s backflips have been the best for me . I m done tryjng tires after this 😂.
Sound from car was wrong from start. It sounds like gear from motor have bad "connection" with gear from transmission. And will end up with "eaten" part of transmission gear by motor gear.
@@ЄгорПавленко-м4ь it's a three-gear straight cut so the sound you were hearing is normal as it has an idler where as mesh is set there and not at the spur.
Audio on this video is coming out in French, and it won't switch back? Anyone else with this issue? I can get the CC to play subtitles in english but the audio refuses to play anything other then french? Cheers
@ sucks didn't you just open all that up to fix that pinion gear.... wonder what's causing it to slip I know your very mechanical so I'm assuming you let the loctite dry 24hrs maybe it needs cleaned even better but I assume you did a pretty good job
Man, every video you post about this kagama guy you can’t seem to keep it working right. I know it’s hard to give up on cool RC cars like this one. But maybe it’s time to shelf it and enjoy something in your collection more reliable. Love your vids. 👊🏼
Guy between associated with red cat I believe the Red Cat will win the team associated is a good truck but I don't think it hold up better than the red cat did 💯👍🎄 I would like to see a bass battle between the two and that's only one guy I know that can make it happen that's you 💯💯
Hope you can sort out the problem. It does actually look like a fun RC. Is it too much to ask just to be able to run a car properly and not have it fail on you😂
So I'm not sure what you meant by the comment. I wanted to see if the Redcat could handle the tires better than the TC. One thing that I had said in a video about driving the Kagama was something to do with geometry it felt like, but what I think it really is is the overall RC everything about it is stiff, rigid and compact or at least more than some other RC's to an extent. I believe the more flexible Redcat is working better with TC then the factory wheels that came on the Redcat TR. Don't forget this is driving style terrain and all that stuff
@@rcguygarage Yeah guy its good to have spare wheels to try out with different types of offsets. Just built a DR10 roller kit with stadium truck wheels that fit in the Team associated pro2 sc10 body. This is all your fault: Watched a video Max 8 vs 8BL150. Of course is was a "bloke" so he had 2 corrally cars of the same decent. I think one of the fathers was a buggy or mother was a buggy.
