Hello and welcome to Thrifty Day🌼 In this video I show the easiest way to add a full page to your journal ever!! If you are new to journaling, or junk journaling, or if you have no idea how to start a daily journal then this is the video for you!
In this chatty video I show you how I add pages into a sewn journal, I make a fun themed layout, and I share a little bit about my new Pen Pal challenge! I use a vintage book page, some personal ephemera from a fun family day, and some pictures I printed on my little Kodak personal printer📷 My layout is super easy, I only use glue and staples so anyone can be inspired and join in on the fun! You can use a journal as accessible and inexpensive as a composition book or a spiral notebook, or you can buy or make your own journal. Hi Leah, this is a cute layout! I use either stickles by Ranger or Craftsmart glitter glue from Michael's for small sections. For glittering the edge of a page I use Red Line tape or another double sided tape in either 1/8" or 1/4" width and then add glitter over top. Yup, can be messy but it sticks, won't rub off and you get a much larger choice of colors to use. Thanks for sharing! 😊

Love your pages and the idea to use the clear tape. The pages are so bright and happy and I think the glitter you used was “okie dokie”, loved the washi tape too, loved everything…..cyndi m.

Hey Leah, great layout and funny how we can have such giggles about the things we did when we were younger, LOL! I do not have any suggestions for the glitter glue but I will suggest placing a piece of wax or parchment paper between the pages so that they don't begin to stick over time. Take care, be well.

Cute layout... I have had assorted colors of Stickles for years, some inherited from my mom. They have not dried up. I think they are basically a glitter glue., not sure if you can buy them anymore have not checked. Have a good day!

Love this spread! Same goes for me with the glitter glue…I’m too cheap to invest in a good one and I’m underwhelmed by the cheap ones 😂😂🫠🫠🤷🏽♀️. Today I got glitter acrylic paint which I’m really excited to try- could this be exactly what I need 🙀. Also, being a teen in the 90’s was the best; fashion, music, movies. Top tier. Thx for sharing!
