I was one of those Straight A students who fully trusted whatever the govt. or teachers said so I believed or feared what the govt. said about marijuana might be true. When I listened to bob marleys music it calmed down my mania and got me out of depression (I have bipolar). Also it was looking at Marleys moral Charecter that helped me realise that marijuana is not evil at all. I'm a Christian, and I remember watching a video where he quotes Isaiahs scriptures while singing at a live concert and I felt the holy spirit come upon me. Most important of all: this is a true story: When I first started to listen to bob marley his music got me out of my depression and whils listening to his music I felt so joyful but right when I arrived home I felt this weird sense that my sister was in trouble. I ran into my house based on my intuition and found my sister crying on the floor with pills all over ths floor and a suicide note. I looked her straight in the eyes and told her I loved her and cried and immediately called 911. That was the first time I told her I loved her ( We fought alot growing up becaue we came from a dysfunctional family. My sister and I are still best friends to this day.
I listened to Dick Gregory's intro to this incredible production and was stunned at how every word was applicable to today's circumstances in the brink of 2025. We know too much to let history repeat itself
Truly one of the most inspiring figures of my life....An outstandingly brilliant fire burnt within his soul for the world to see and re-inspire others for generations.
BOB MARLEY how wonderful is this guy ? he is a true legend that could not be repeated and happened once again since he deceased in 1981 because of dame cancer the entire world disabled completely to fetch another legend exactly like him and our hearts and minds are still concerning that this fantastic and influencial superstar who still occupying the world with his beautiful .. eternal songs and this is great salute from SUDANESE people to BOB MARLEY family and god bless his sons and daughters
I’ve watched countless live performance videos of Bob but this one is my favorite! It truly captures his essence. My favorite part is 33:28 when the crowd goes wild and Rita looks over at him “like what is he doing?” 😂 Bob was jammin! He was feelin IT! There was something truly magical and so loveable about Bob Marley. And can I just say how lovely Rita is? She also has a presence about her and beautiful ebony skin. I was 3 yr old when this concert took place and 5 when he died. I hate I missed being able to see him live. I’ve been a long time fan since was a kid.
Bob was a great philosopher, he deserve a Nobel prize. If the international community does not recognize this truth then most of us do, and in our hearts he is a great hero who had contributed a lot in building up civilization in terms of humanity, peace and love and participated in freedom fighting for equality across the world. Respect Bob Marley and the Wailers!
Although I was born years after his death, when I see him on his concert videos or listen to his music it soothes my soul. It's sad how many in our generation only think of him as a "pot head" who sang chill songs. Not so long ago, I just felt this need to learn his history and music. Since that day I have been infatuated by his work. His music has brought peace and harmony to my soul. He has helped me have a closer connection to God. When I am stressed I listen to him and everything just stops, and my mind becomes clear. No joke. It's a beautiful thing how after so many years, he continues to touch people in a positive way. Bob Marley is the best and his legacy will never die!Thank you Bob! #OneLove
AMANDA WILLEMS PENSO A MESMA COISA TENHO51 ANOS SEMPRE CURTI BOB MARLEY SEM SABER O SIGNIFICADO DAS LETRAS NAO FALO INGLES HOJE EM DIA ENTENDO A MENSAGEM QUE ELE DEIXOU PARA NOS EU FALO PORTUGUES DO BRASIL MAS AGORA COM O RECURSO DA LEGENDA CONSEGUI ENTENDER BOB E SERA E ESTA ENTRE NOS JAH RASTAFARI
I was at this great show. They were one of the tightest bands in music history and Rita Marley and the I-3 were amazing backup singers (no auto-tune needed with them!). I was also lucky enough to see Bob Marley at The Music Hall in Boston (now the Wang Center). I saw many shows there and it was the only one where everyone stood and danced for the entire show.
You know your are here for what the title says but the long intro speech instantly steals a part of your heart as you keep wanting to skip ahead but you are too afraid to dare.
I saw Bob Marley and the Wailers played at the Palace Park June 1980 London with my brother Phill and he's mate Ian good gig and a good day out nice one one love paulas
+tom11zz884 Indeed So VERY POWERFUL WORDS ! ! God Is Definitely Blessing Him...at 83 years of Age, He Remains Relevant & Real he is Of Strong Mind Body & Spirit Great Man ! God Bless You & Yours !
The great artist or bands have a magic it's hard to describe. I guess it's innovation , originality , carisma, boldness. Bob Marley and the Wailers are in that league. they are one of the top musical acts of all time.
I just feel bad for my selft that im born after his death , never had the opportunity to go to one of his live performances. Bob , biggest artist ever.
yesterday was bobs 68th birthday, god bless bob marley, his fans, and rastas. like i have been watching this video ever since the view count was less than 100,000. this video has really been a cultural phenomenon
The greatest pioneer of freedom in the modern era, he was not only great he was truly magnificent. May his words of inspiration live on to the end of time and continue to inspire mankind, especially those who have lost their moral and spiritual compass. One love, "Rastafari"
when i was 17 living in Kingston Jamaica, I went to a concert at the national stadium, Marvin Gaye was the main act and Bob Marley open for him, so I sneaked back stage and get to see two of the greatest musicians in person, I couldn't believe I was standing right next to Marvin and Bob, really made my day.
I was in Crystal Palace Garden London 1980 to watch Bob Marley’s Concert where he lunched his last Album “UPRISING” . Till date am still angry that the Man died too early and wonder why he refused the amputation of his toe to get rid of the cancer. But God knows Best. Continue to rest in the Lord in Peace. We love you
I've been a member of The Church of RNM since '79. I was only nine when he died . I heard the announcement on the radio ...I had never even heard Reggae before that. The day that he died the radio station played is music for most of the day and I was smitten from that day forward. It took some time to understand patwah but I only had to Hear to listen . I'm all in now .One Love !
Bob wealy a true legend does not repeat again despite he gone before his time in little age which 36 years old but whole the world can not forget him at all because he was real human being devoted him self to serve humanity by all it high and noble meanings .. great love from Sudan to Bob and his family ..
To Angie xoxo, I had the opportunity to see him twice and I'll say this, you would've loved every minute you were there. Bob could unite people and move you with his lyrics. He had power. I was eight years old when the.One Love Peace concert took place and it was an experience that I will never forget. Know that his music was truly an inspiration even to this day. There will never be another like Robert Nesta Marley. Hail Rastafari H.I.M.
Bob Marley and the Wailers you rest in history for the last, i like you so much, your brother Hamza Seydou Diarra from Mali Republic West Africa, Salamoaleykoum
There was a time when some brave people dare to tell the truth and criticize the system with no fear because they had a message, and I can still feel it in the air. RIP legend you will always live in our hearts and souls
yo nací en 1985, 4 años después, hoy en día tengo 29 años y no se imaginan como deseo estar en ese tiempo y disfrutar un concierto de esa magnitud, donde solo importa la paz y la tranquilidad para tu alma.
Wow Dick Gregory what an inspiration!! Definitely need some leaders like that today. If this man was presented America would be a completely different place today, for the better
I cannot believe how relevant Bob's message still is today, but it has crossed the color lines now and we on the lower end of the levels of knowledge about what is going on behind the scenes in places of high power now also fit the description......God knows what they have in store for our children and grandchildren. Pray I don't live long enough to see the whole truth. RIP Man of Vision...Bob.
❤ Que Espetáculo!! Bob e esta Banda Maravilhosa, me deixa deveras Emocionado, ate o dia de hoje ! E a evidência se concretiza nesta Musica Exodus , vejam o Show da Percussão!
Robert Nesta Marley. .....Jah Rastafari. .....unico e immortale. ...thanks for all ....mi hai dato tanto con la tua musica....e la tua filosofia di vita ....one love one world one Blood.....Jah live. ..
I was Blessed to Witness three Bob Marley & The Wailer & I-Three Concerts and the Best was the first time in Philadelphia, PA - Spectrum Arena - 1978 -10th Row, Rhoda and I heads were full with some Medicinal KayaHerb. The other two times were: Madison Square Garden -1978 and Philadelphia Civic Center - 1979. I was hit right by Brother Marley’s Music from that day to this very day. Also, I witnessed the Great Peter Tosh him in Philadelphia, PA - 1983--Annenberg Theater--University of Pennsylvania-awesome concert. I was hit musical by Brother Peter from that concert day to this day. In addition, I witnessed Bunny Rugs (born on the same day as Bob-Feb 6) and Third World with at World Café-Queen in Wilmington, Delaware - 2012-and it was awesome show in a nice-nice a concert hall. Note: I-Three needs make their musical CD, do a worldwide concert and produce a DVD of the show--to have their earned day in the spotlight and for their artistic Reggae singing legacy. Add, Bob's sons on the CD, concert and DVD. Reggae fans globally are patiently hoping and longing for the day see the I-Three in concert. Please, Please-Please! >>> From, Brother Ibo Changa Ford--USA

Love and Respect! I was 3 months old at the time of this concert and living in the Caribbean. It's amazing that 38 years later I'm still in awe of how much Bob Marley has accomplished in his short time here. His music is timeless and is needed now as much as it was needed then. It's a shame that some people will never understand his message, nor catch his spirit, but for those of us who can, it's a beautiful thing!
Bob Marley as a legend which could not be repeated once again also was great performer was singing for liberation form slavery and racisim .. i weally admire this breached man so whatever i sau about this guy i can not give him his right because of great role he played to instigate africans to liberate Zembabwi from English abominable colonization ....
I was 5 when Bob Marley died. Unfortunately I never got to experience this LEGEND but I’m sooooo thankful for all the YT videos that captured and display his essence and genius. What I must have been like to see him in person I can only imagine. And so now I’m left to imagine him an old man with gray in his dreads surrounded by all his children and grandchildren and I can see him smiling and enjoying the worldwide acclaim and praise for his life’s work that he so rightfully deserves. His music is timeless and will live through the ages-Much love to Mr. Bob Marley ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This concert had to have been something amazing to experience! Although he passed before I was born, i got the opportunity to see the Wailers live in Portland, OR. at the Crystal Ball Room, and one of his sons stood in for him!
and that is all, in my opinion, what Bob Marley would want you to know- One Love! Politics is about dividing and conquering, Bob was about UNITY. woke up this morning angry about what is happening in the world, to my own children and to me, but your comment calmed me down. thx brother!
