I was so happy to see this video -- love Angie's tours! Everything is so cute & thats the kind of decorations i like. My halloween is the cute & fun too. Thankyou for this video.
What a wonderful collection and home! Love your friend and her sweet, funny narration! Sounds like you both live in a wonderful community! I’m also a retired elementary school teacher. As a teacher, Halloween was great fun. We decorated the school to the hilt and had a costume parade on the playground. Our community let the kids paint store front windows with Halloween scenes. Nothing gory or horrible. Just traditional maybe slightly spooky Halloween fun for the kids.
Thank you to Miss Angie for sharing her lovely home and fabulous vintage Halloween. I have a lot of vintage Halloween post cards and just few other vintage Halloween items. I definitely agree about the black licorice- yuck!😊
Ohmygoodness Angie has the best vintage holiday decor! Her collections are so fun! She decorates like no one else on UA-cam! My favorites items are the 10 cent ghost books and the die cuts! Her things are so special!
Good morning Kayla! I agree with you both on the thoughts of halloween decor. I don't personally decorate but i enjoy seeing decor like this, the old vintage fun pieces! The little ghost on the fireplace hearth, with the little legs & feet are so stinking cute!😊 Oh goodness a halloween troll! When my daughter was around 7yrs old they were real popular & she loved them! She collected a few of the baby trolls, the didn't look creepy lol. That was in the early 90's. Oh my goodness I absolutely love the quilt on the table, its gorgeous!!❤ Oh I remember the Little Georgie books! I started school in early 70's and we read them in school and had them in the library also. Of course I had some at home too. I was born in the mid 60's & I do remember the plastic piece full of candy corn with the pumpkin on top! Oh I use to love the wax bottles with the flavored liquid in them! My grandpa & uncle had an old country store & that the kind of candy we loved to get! Web the candy truck came, if my uncle wasn't around, my aunt would let me & my cousin go on the truck & pick out candy for the store. Needless to say we always got a bagful of candy with some of the new pieces in it!😄 I always loved the double bubble gum! Yes, I remember the whistle suckers! Kayla when i was young there were so many people that have out the homemade things & even apples! There was an elderly lady that love just a couple houses down from us.. she would take the thin clear gloves & put candy corn in the finger tips then pack it with popcorn. She'd also make little bags with 2 homemade chocolate chip cookies. So she'd give us a bag of each.. it was my fav house to go to! Then the next house over they on A bakery, it was right there in the house. They made homemade m&m cookies, and they were big cookies! You'd get a big cookie in a bag with some little tootsie rolls. Those were the good days! I remember having one if the metal tops like she has in her pumpkin in the bedroom! It was cream colored with A big blue stripe and a big red stripe around it.. remember it like yesterday!🥹 I love that old bench & the rocking horse! She truly has a amazing collection! Thank you for taking us Kayla & thanks to sweet Angie for inviting us & sharing her beautiful home & collections with us! Pray you ladies have a blessed rest of your week!🙏🏻
Angie, thank you for sharing your home and Halloween collection. It brought back a lot of memories from my childhood. Kayla, thanks for filming and sharing as always! I enjoy all your videos.
Thank you so much for sharing and the origins of Halloween were not evil or wicked or anything having to do with devil worship. It was pretty much a harvest festival and we continued it with Irish immigrants here in the US and it was actually supported by the Catholic church and why the celebration of All saints Day came about. So it's just a way to celebrate life and those who have passed on. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful collection😊
Cuteness overload!!!! Love it all. The little pumpkins in the clay pots is a great idea. I have some of the clay jack a lanterns with the hats. Been to lazy to get them out but I think I will do that first thing in the morning. Thanks for the motivation!!🎃🎃🎃
I can remember Halloween parties at my church when I was a child. That was back in the late 50s before folks brought the evil into the fun day! And I’m a retired teacher also.
Super cute collection! I have many pieces from 1900-1970’s too. I didn’t have kids, but love to decorate my home for the neighbor kids in our city. It’s so cute, they thank me for the decorations outside. It’s important to get to know your neighbors, when I lived in the suburbs no one knew each other.
All I can say is wow what an amazing collection and she has what an amazing house. Thank you for sharing your wonderful video Kayla God bless you and Penny and everyone in your family.🙏💕❤️👋🇨🇦

Cracker Barrel used to have lots of neat Halloween goodies. Oh my your vintage candy brings back memories. Remember the waxed teeth?! Don’t grade me on this post because I’m all over the place! Thoroughly enjoyed this video!
