It really makes sense. When your landing, You normally want a quick taxi to the gate. So you land the other side. So that when you stop, Your right next to the stands, and don't have to taxi the entire runway For takeoffs, Same thing, You wouldn't want to spend 5 years taxiing to the other side, To simply takeoff.
@@friedpotato184 Landings and takeoffs are done against the wind. Taking off to the opposite direction of landings will cause chaos and massive delays to any mid-sized airport
Apologies! I’m still unfamiliar with aircraft variations in the game I thought the 737-300 is the variant in-game and not realizing it was wrong, I don’t really know the ICAO codes of each aircraft so I’ll research more into it.
