Senyaka definitely based on 'Mahasona', the most popular devil character in Sri Lankan culture. Yaka is the synonym for devil.
Mahsona loses his head during a fight with a giant. Then returns with a head of a bear as one friend helps him. This remembers me the final battle of Senyaka. He will return with a head of an animal for sure.
Thank you for the video👍👍
This character will will definitely return with an replaced animal head. As there a true story based on this. And when he returns he will be powerful than ever. Btw great video💕
Senyanka had a action figure in the 1990s from ToyBiz during Marvel’s revival before the company risked bankruptcy and a buy up from DC Comics in 1997.
I was today years old when I found out that a Sri Lankan character is in marvel comics, but soon I realised hes a villianand I'm disappointed. We need more information of his past life and how he ended up a Villian
This was sweet 🎂
Dude all this time I never knew Sri Lanka was in Marvel comics.
great work
@@pathumtharaka8619 oy we randomly met again in u tube, wow wtf xo
@@dileepamadushan6952 hey wait .. ur the friend of maneesha right ?
I have a theory what if senyaka is Ritigala Jayasena The original mahasona according to srilankan culture and he and all the other dasa maha yodayo were mutants hence the enormas strengths and powers and the reason he has his head covered is cuz he has a bear head like in the myths and him losing his head by wolverien is actually the second time and he will come back in the future with his head attached again
@@abrakadabra7172 Y'all are totally fine with names like Loki,Thor and Abrakadabra but god forbid another culture use their native languages.

Fuck, I love comics too!
I hope they bring him back sometime on Krakoa.
Im from sri lanka
Senyaka’s past deserved a retrospective of his origins and motivations. A minor character by memory, he had an impressive set of action figures in the mid-1990s in ToyBiz who could allied the Resistants or Apocalypse’s Horsemen.
