Great video! Can't believe how fast Chilling Reign is rising in price. It's basically doubled from its low already and seems to be shooting towards $200 real fast. Fusion Strike might have the same price jump once the Pokemon Center sells out of it.
Paldean fates is a baller set. I believe it’s the best set out of all sets covered in the video. Charizard ex, mew ex, gardevoir ex will carry it so hard…..without even considering ultra popular shiny Pokémon. Hugely underrated.
I agree with your list but is Paldea Evolved that good of a set? The top 2 cards from Paldea Evolved have the same value as the top 2 cards of Paldean Fates. Let me know what you think.
If you don't like gen 9 you might not like it. The reason the value is so low people always hate the new generation. It takes a while for people to appreciate. The reason it's so good is it has all brand new 9 starter pokemon and 4 new legendary pokemon for their first cards ever. Doesn't happen very often
Would do Paldean fates on invest in a case, not just shiny's this time around. There's actually playable cards and tons of chase cards here. Mew, Charizard, Gard, Iono, Pen massive chase cards not including the shinies
Interesting to get your take on it - especially someone being positive about Scarlett and Violet, it makes a nice change. Most of my purchases have been in the, buy a case, category. The exception is Crown - only because it’s my favourite set
I purchased a booster box of Fusion Strike for $90, back at about it's cheapest, and had all intentions of letting it sit in the safe for years. My son wanted to open it really bad so I gave in. He ended up pulling the Gengar Vmax alt art and the Mew V alt art so I was like hey, that's ok! Lol Good stuff my friend. I've been out of the Pokemon investing game for a while and want to slowly get back into it. Just picked up a 151 ultra premium collection box that will stay sealed. Also have several other pieces in the sealed collection. I also like Crown Zenith. I need to pick up a few pieces from that set. My son has pulled the gold Giratina and the Dialga. If we bust packs, I pretty much just let him do it. Lol
Very good video again.would like to see a comparison between etbs, booster boxes of 36+ 18, blister packs × 3, mini tins to see how they compare with price increases over the years from a sealed collecting point if not covered already
This video helped me A LOT. Just got back into collecting Pokémon cards thanks to SV151 bringing back the nostalgia. Looking forward to future videos my friend, happy collecting!
Sv base booster box cases are on eBay for 490 shipped right now, I think that’s just to good to pass on even if they go up like the typical base box. 81~82$ a booster is crazy
New to Pokemon, nephew twisted my arm enough. Where should I start without spending a lot of money. But still have a legal payable deck. Not just a casual. I bought two 2023 world championship decks for casual play with nephew or maybe even others. But would like to get a legal deck without buying individual packs to build a deck. I know they just faxed out all E cards. I'd like to skip F and have a G-H deck for the purpose of not buying cards next year. Any thoughts?
Agree with most apart from investing in a box of pokemon go. I understand the hype for pokemon go but in the TCG I see literally no interest in this set even when it was realised compared to others
That's a super tough one. I would say paldea evolved because it has the new starters and new legendary pokemon for their first good cards ever printed, but that giratina is a one of a kind card and has the best trainer gallery with the pikachus and charizard and Areodactyl alt I'm going with lost origin by like 1% lol. The other pokemon they chose for paldea evolved are disappointing. That's why I'm loving paradox rift alot cuz the pokemon like altaria, garchomp, gollisopod mixed with the gen 9.
151 is your best bet. It has a sir blastoise, and a sir zapdos card that has articuno and moltres in the card. Sir means Special Illustration Rare. Otherwise fusion strike has an alt art gengar vmax that is very hard to pull and is very expensive. Etbs are pretty affordable for fusion strike still.
Im still on the buy singles even multiples and then hold onto those, even OG ones just get dupes of them. Takes up less space and may as well just invest in what people will cherish later on. Obviously its missing one thing which is the magic of opening and that unknown feeling you get with packs, but boxes are pricey and take lots of space and also its hard to not open them 😂
I don’t see the hype on Zenith. Can someone explain? Feels like awful pull rates (at least compared to sets right after) and didn’t feel like anything that sick outside of the golds
It literally has the best pull rates out of any set that we have had for years. The most illustration rares, and special illustration rares out of any set ever. Also, the last yellow boarder set.
this may seem like a dumb question, but I am trying to understand the endgame for investing and leaving the boxes sealed on their shelves- is it for opening later or selling later? maybe it might be because I have a smaller collection - i just try to get boxes that are the most bang for my buck and open them to see what I pull
It can be whatever you want to do with them. Most people get some to sell and to hold on to so they can it pass down to their kids and stuff. Just remember if I already own all the cards in the set I have no reason to really open the box.
Pokemon will always have collectors and always be worth something people who haven't completed sets would want stuff like boxes that they missed out on, its alwatys good to have a sealed set because its can double or triple in value in 2-4 years
yo fellow bearded collector i life in the netherlands (europe) i just bought ''Pokemon Crown Zenith Premium Figure Collection - Shiny Zacian'' there are 11 packs in it and it was 50 euros so 53 dollars jou think its a good price? (i bought 3 2 of the shiny zacian and 1 of the shiny zamazenta
the empty your savings list is outrageous. Why even consider specialty sets as an investment when they dont have any booster boxes? They dont do well and even if they go up a few dollars the liquidity isnt that great plus shipping is a hassle on etbs. Chilling reign is an empty your savings play for sure though, Price target 220 USD end of 2024
What's outrageous is you saying specialty sets dont do well😂😂😂How much is a dragon Majesty etb?? Or generations etb?? I'll wait... All 3 of our specialty sets blow those 2 out of the water. By the way, it's an actual fact that etbs actually gain more value than booster boxes. Look it up.
Some ETBs & premium collections are liquid. Hidden Fates - was $120 pushing close to $200 now. Was $300 at release. 25th anniversary UPC - very scarce & the gold Charizard yields the highest ROI in all of the S&S era cards in terms of PSA 10 population & cost.
@naveedzamani8707 Even though Hidden Fates has had so many reprints and is still gaining value. How much are the celebrations upc?? Pokemon center celebrations etb?? Crown zenith pokemon center etb?? You're obviously a level 1 investor if you think everything is gonna gain value in 1 or 2 years. 😂😂😂 it's called long-term investing for a reason.
Chilling and Astral are absolutely awesome sets. I have a hunch those 2 sets will do well. I may have to pick some up very soon. Good video man.
Great video! Can't believe how fast Chilling Reign is rising in price. It's basically doubled from its low already and seems to be shooting towards $200 real fast. Fusion Strike might have the same price jump once the Pokemon Center sells out of it.
Thank you!!! It will definitely be at $200 soon
Paldean fates is a baller set. I believe it’s the best set out of all sets covered in the video. Charizard ex, mew ex, gardevoir ex will carry it so hard…..without even considering ultra popular shiny Pokémon. Hugely underrated.
Please do an updated list! Love this

@@parkerC1990s but yet paldea evolved is already 120, and almost every S&V sir has gone up??
Thanks for the advice!
Absolutely, thanks for watching!
Would do Paldean fates on invest in a case, not just shiny's this time around. There's actually playable cards and tons of chase cards here. Mew, Charizard, Gard, Iono, Pen massive chase cards not including the shinies
Yea it's definitely looking like a solid set.
@@PokeBeardTCG was able to workout a solid deal with my LGS brother. $42 per ETB for 20 ETB’s. Wish me luck man!
great video and well explained :)
I appreciate that! Thank you for watching!
Thank you very much for your video. It's always good to hear various opinions. You got a subscription 🎉
I really appreciate that! Thanks for subscribing!
Interesting to get your take on it - especially someone being positive about Scarlett and Violet, it makes a nice change. Most of my purchases have been in the, buy a case, category. The exception is Crown - only because it’s my favourite set
Absolutely im a huge fan of the scarlet and violet era. Crown is top tier
I purchased a booster box of Fusion Strike for $90, back at about it's cheapest, and had all intentions of letting it sit in the safe for years. My son wanted to open it really bad so I gave in. Wow, now that's some luck. I would definitely suggest picking up Crown Zenith etbs while they're still cheap. Such a great set
My 1st lost origin booster box I pulled the girantina alt art. I was happy af
So jealous!!
I like the long term for Vivid Voltage. The power of Pikachu is to great. Nice Video
Agreed!
Very good video again.would like to see a comparison between etbs, booster boxes of 36+ 18, blister packs × 3, mini tins to see how they compare with price increases over the years from a sealed collecting point if not covered already
I pulled the Gengar trainer gallery card from lost origin the other day and I love it
Solid card!
Cant go wrong with investing in a case of every set that comes out 💪 one of them is gonna slap
I agree. Thanks for watching
151 I slept and then walk into walmart three days ago and see 3 evolving skies and 3 151 etbs... bought 3 . Left some for others.
Buying crown zenith tins for £8 a piece gonna keep a few sealed was wanting to ask were does everyone get there deals from on cards
If I have a budget of around $850 then what do you think would be the best things to invest in?
That's a tough question.. probably LO booster boxes
bitcoin

I'm glad it helped! Thanks for watching
Where do I start collecting English 151 : Do I buy a set off eBay or buy the promos,ETB,Ultra set ? Thanks
Drop this in my what if series

Alt art mewtwo, radiant starters, and the ditto cards. Definitely not the worst set. But I totally feel you. Probably won't move a ton
Is the crown zenith elite trainer box any good?
Yep. It will just take another couple years cuz of the reprints
What do you think is a better set overall not just to invest in paldea evolved or lost origin
I just got back into pokemon cards, can anyone tell me a good set to try and pull a cool blastoise, gengar, or articuno from?
151 is your best bet. It has a sir blastoise, and a sir zapdos card that has articuno and moltres in the card. Sir means Special Illustration Rare. Otherwise fusion strike has an alt art gengar vmax that is very hard to pull and is very expensive. Etbs are pretty affordable for fusion strike still.

Good work out there. You think buying 2 evolving skies booster boxes is still a solid pickup at 4+?
Yea I can't really see it ever going below 4
I don’t see the hype on Zenith. Can someone explain? Feels like awful pull rates (at least compared to sets right after) and didn’t feel like anything that sick outside of the golds

You think pokemon center will restock their paldean fates etbs? I hope so cuz I missed the preorders
Yea, they probably will.
can u do a video like this, but with japanese sword and shield and scarlet and violet sets?
I could possibly do that. I'll put it on the list
151 will surely get reprints so is it the best idea to buy it now? It will probably drop like CZ did.
As long as you get it for msrp it can't really hurt to get now if you have the space and money
I could see a reprint just in time for the 2024 Holidays. Just like they did with CZ
What is the name of the site that you check the prices
That lugia in silver tempest will be the next lugia neo genesis further down the road. Mark my words. XD
I hope so!
Is the Celebrations Prime Box good?
Brilliant stars fucked me over so bad I remember buying like 10 packs and have 0 pulls. That was my limit and I’ve never bought one yet again
Yea but some people bought 1 pack and pulled the zard. It's all random. It's not the set.
151 to the moon! i love the top sets here i have a little bit of them all
Nice!!! Yea I love 151. Thanks for watching
yo fellow bearded collector i life in the netherlands (europe) i just bought ''Pokemon Crown Zenith Premium Figure Collection - Shiny Zacian'' there are 11 packs in it and it was 50 euros so 53 dollars jou think its a good price? (i bought 3 2 of the shiny zacian and 1 of the shiny zamazenta
Yea that's not bad. Those are great boxes
Pokemon Go has the ditto cards. Kinda gimicky but I think they'll age well.
At 600-700$ would u still consider making a play on evolving skies?
No
There should be one column say max your debt, and that is only for 151
Hahaha, thanks for watching
temporal forces would have actually been insane if they didn’t change the legendary dogs :(
I know! It honestly would have been crazy!
what website is that
I was wondering the same thing...
I wish 151 had SIRs for the legendary birds
That would be amazing
Where do people generally buy their products? TikTok?
You can find brand new stuff on tiktok shop for a good deal. Otherwise ebay is king
paldea evolved?!?
Yep such a great set
wooop
Obsidian flames 😂😂😂

I disagree besides celebrations. Chilling Reign might be up there but I think lost origin or silver tempest are better
Bad take here. Clearly doesn’t know what he’s talking about
