NWOTHM Full Albums will try to gather the best of Old School Heavy Metal albums by the bands of the new generation. We do not intend to cause harm to the bands and their music, only to advertise it. If any band or label don't want to be in our channel, just ask and we will take the video out.
If you like it, buy the album.
The Destroyer is one of the best, well produced metal tracks I've every done heard.
that Legend cover though..
I know, right?
@T A I look barbaric
@Well That’s okay Very Conan.. Read the books btw, really good!
I guess Im randomly asking but does any of you know of a way to get back into an instagram account??
I somehow forgot my account password. I would love any tips you can offer me.
@Dayton Declan Instablaster :)
Best thing i've heard in ages.
Awakened by the Dawn is an absolute banger. So good to see EC exhume these classic slabs of Metal.
Came here b/c of Sarah from BangerTV (and also Smoulder!). Subscribed b/c of the content and obvious love of metal. Thanks.
She's the best host on there
Epic work, Mystic Force is an underrated band
Oh wow. What a find , I was the original guitarist " Mystic Force " .. Granted I didn't write this song nor was with the band at the time . I do though have fond memories of I and Keith Menser sitting in his room , Debating the name of our band . He was adamant it would be Mystic Force . Sadly Keith passed away in Sept 2022
6:23 Awakened by the Dawn
Awakened by the Dawn. What a classic tune
It's really cool that this is made available in this manner since EC seems to be completely sold out already again.
It's a proper release, the sound is a bit old fashioned which does give it some extra atmosphere indeed (although it's a bit strange at first). My guess is that they have tried to stay close to the sound of the original versions. Giving a listen to the orginals provides a nice insight in what EC tried to do here (and have succeeded in doing so, in my opinion).
After this I do hope that they will include one or two covers on the new album too, there are so many lesser known bands from the '70s and '80s that deserve a good cover version (although an EC cover version of some old Saxon or Cirith Ungol tune would probably be cool too).
Awakened by the Dawn (Mystic Force cover) starts at 6:23
Through a silent sleep I lay
Running through my mind
Visions of reality
All Consciousness so blind
Falling into natures realm
I have not lost my mind
Through these dreams that I once see
Nightmares of my destiny
Awakened........Awakened by the dawn
I was taken.......Awakened by the dawn
Fear collaborates inside
Building signs with time
Vital message relayed my way
Fatal winds confined
I hear the voices through the night
(Calling) Calling me insane
There's no way to escape
The shatter mirror of pain
Awakened........Awakened by the dawn
I was taken.......Awakened by the dawn
Thanks for take the paja de hacer todo esto
Best songs of the universe.
In all OV eternia🍻
damn true! 🤘
Legend's From the Fjords definitely needs a re-release.
Totally fucking agree.
I think it did, I bought a recent (if I'm not mistaking) repress of it.
U got it
Put your headphones on in blasters this song is totally awesome the whole album is rocks the whole album the band everything about this band rocks
Instant like! What a wonderful EP and such a great band! That cover would make a good tshirt
their stuff just keeps getting better
I honestly can't get enough of these guys! Also...I can't be the only one who thinks it's awesome that they used the Powerslave font for the album title.
Same
Ordinary i full-heartedly avoid covers but these particular covers offers the utmost honorable perception of what made the original songs into great ones.
Wow! So awesome I dig this band.
Thanks Sarah for recommending this channel and this ep, though I admit I already was subscribed to this channel of epic true metal.
Great shit brothers! Keep the metal faith alive!
Powerful 🤘
Eternal Champion! Eternamente bom. Bom demais! Valeu!
Great coverversions!
Jason, the singer, also makes swords and daggers. Check out his company Hammerhall Forge. vfacebook.com/hammerhallforge/?fref=mentions
He’s also fucking huge and I don’t know if it’s from the blacksmithing or if he lifts
That is being metal!
Epic metal 🤘🏻 .... death to the false ... 🤘🏻
First I've heard this one. Love these guys. I want to go to a show! I guess i have to fly out!!!! !! !!!!! !!!! !!! Oh sorry the beat got me for a sec
Awesome!
This is the best cover I ever listened
Mark Shelton and Manilla Road influences
The song The Destroyer is a cover from the Band named Legend Album-From the Fjords.
GREAT TRIBUTE
Nice to hear something from these guys, but I'm really hoping this is a precursor something original coming soon!
Check out the armor of ire, and ravening iron, two amazing full lengths
Had this on repeat going through Sen's Fortress, Darksouls 1.
This band gonna be big
Indeed my friend
In 7 years they released 12 songs. At this rate they never gone be big. This is not like Vermeer van Delft (1632-1675) who painted only 37 pictures in his whole life.
Nah, they havent released anything in a while, on the verge of getting forgotten
That's because this isn't really the main focus of some of the members, for example one guitarist and the drummer are both members of power trip. Which had had a lot of success the last 3 years.
@@tobyhall8048 Wowie, nice fact bro, Both bands are killer af, hope they return to this project at some point
very cool indeed....
great tunes
Hell yeah! One of the best bands ever heard!
Werewolf mas so tem cover
To this day
I haven't been this excited about a metal band since 1981 and Queensryche. These guys are absolutely bitchin'. Perfect singing, perfect music style, and more impressive lyrics than Rush. AWESOME!!!!
Very Great 🌪️👊🌫️
4:40 - amazing.
🤘🖤🤘
Something about the first track reminds me of old Iron Maiden. I like it.
I get to see them in a couple of weeks 👍🍻🤘🍺🍺
Where?!
@@viscose808 Austin Texas 🤠 it soldout quick didn't get to go
Oh sucks ya missed em.
@@viscose808 but it's good they're getting the recognition they deserve 🤘🤘🍻
Awakening by the dawn
Is this a best song cover ever
Or the best metal song ever
I am the Destroyer
Excelente.¡¡.lástima..un ep.demasiado corto.
Legend the detroyer
Bravissimi
Awesome stuff, can't wait for new (original) material.
Beautiful, powerful, and utterly ironic. Hahahahaha!
lovely! the attitude of the vocal is like Phill Collins..but this is epic bloody hM!
p.s i love it when the vocal goes ougghhh!
🤘🤘🤘🤘🍻🍻🍻🍻
I'm hearing some Cirith Ungol in the beginning of the second song
Listening to this, I thought I was coming across the voice of God.
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤗
I am the DESTROYER
Belle chitarre
Vocals on the first track remind me of genesis era Peter Gabriel
First track could have been a cut from Voivod’s Angel Rat!, but very lo-Res sound.
yeah man what's up with that sound quality? the song's neat but the prod sounds like garbage. is it a transfer/youtube thing or is the record that garbled?
Sounds a lot like Manilla Road.
rase your swords
Vocals sounda bit like Peter Gabriel in first track
You are right. I had the same feeling.
what i want to know is what kind of weakling would downvote this lol.
Acolytes of the goddess Pussaliah.
Probably tool and slapnutz fans
Crom will crush them!
@@scorpiondeath-lock4238 crom de la crom
Maybe someone from the other band named Eternal Champion who made that horrible pirate album?
Damn evil mistresses. You never know if killing her is better than dating her.
Good music, not the best in the omniverse but close
didnt realize REM made metal?
What happened? I love their debut, but these riffs and the vocals (especially the vocals!) are lacking any kind of verve. I hope the full album will proof me wrong.
I think its only a demo of covers so this material won't be like anything that will be on their next album probably
It's some covers
Totally disappointed by the execution of the song "The destroyer" of USA band Legend , from 1979. The original song was faster and not so heavy in the sound of instruments , and it was perfect. This slower version is just .... not good! The vocals do not even come close to the original vocals smoothness , and the distortion of the guitars is unnecessary heavy.
Georgios Doumas go listen to the original then - the whole point of a cover is for a band to throw their own twist on things, I thought they did the song justice
