I think there are other reasons. There are 400 million Buddhists in China (I am a Buddhist), and there are almost no Buddhists in other countries.Although India protects the Dalai Lama, they do not give him political rights. Moreover, the Indian government does not allow the Dalai Lama to spread Buddhism in India. If he returns to China, he can gain political and religious status, just like the Panchen Lama.Of course, your point of view is also very good.

@@yalaso185you have no idea about Tibet's situation. First of all, Dalai is not the sole religious leader of Tibet as the Western media protrays him to be, there is also Panchen Lama who is equally prominent, if not more in today's Tibet. China does not need Dalai, his existence is an annoyance at best. Younger generation of Tibetan people are becoming more open to modern society and way of life. People are looking at a better prospect of life compare to their forefather who were mostly serfs under Dalai and nobody wishes to go back to that life again. At the worst time of Tibet when Dalai still had people's sympathy and support during his the rebellion, the support for independence was less than 20%. Now it's pretty much close to 0. After all, they just need to look at the living conditions of their brethren in South Tibet and Nepal to understand what an independent Tibet would look like

He further mentioned that China has changed now and isn't the same that it used to be. How is that possible? The China that we know now has been the most oppressive than they have ever been, with their government funded forced organ harvesting facilities and government sponsored mass rape initiative and forced sterilization of the Uyghur population. Doesn't he know about the human rights violation in China where apart from the Han population, everyone else are considered inferior and needs to be eradicated, oppression that has been going on in Tibet for the past 50 years over the Tibetan population, or the fact that so many Tibetans have given their lives due to the free Tibet movement? What kind of a loving Leader would knowingly push their own people to the lions mouth. All of India is angry with the Tibetans because of the behavior of HH because the least that India would expect from the leader of an entire community of refugees is to show some kind of gratitude but now everyone will know how much of a sellout he is and we also know who has paid. This is heartbreaking for Indians but I suppose its nowhere close to how heartbroken the 'Genuine and Aware' Tibetan community of India feel because they know what the truth is.

In fact, what the Indians really care about is not the Tibetan people and culture at all. What they really hope in their hearts is that Tibet can become a part of India. If Tibet breaks away from China, it will immediately become part of India's jurisdiction. Tibet's sparse population and unsuitable living environment make it impossible for them to compete with India. In the end, Tibet will become a part of India or become a puppet state like Bhutan. Both economically and diplomatically are subject to India. I have seen countless times that Indians claim that Tibet is part of Bharat. The Indian government is promoting Hindu nationalism across the country. Look at how Hindus treat Muslims, and the riots in northeast India also involve Hindus clashing with indigenous tribal religions and Christianity.

As a citizen n local of northeast area, i can guarantee that this guy is false. Fights in northeast area is due to difference im communities which some media coverage shows as discrimination against minority religions.
      Reasons behind manipur escalation-
1.Destroying of illegal poppy farms by Biren singh govt. -these farms are a siurce of earning illegal money n outfits use this to buy weapons from chinese and Myanmar outside actors. Which escalated into greater riot like situation.
2.Demanding of st status for meitei-
Kuki believes they will be discarded and will have hard to compete if meitei get ST category since they cant compete with Meitei in knowledge and powers which leads to riots between then and when rhey attack eachother in burst of angriness, they destroy each other religiously structures and media and some instigator cover it by the name of religion.
There are lakhs of bangladeshi muslim called as Mia, if you dont believe then check border area of Assam, tripura and west Bengal.
Ccp bots will never knew the real situation just like this one.

Sir, it was Uncle Sam, who encouraged India in 1959 to support the Tibetan people and give shelter to the Dalai Lama. India took extreme measures against China and allowed the Dalai Lama in exile to run the Tibetan government. Now 64 years later, this plan has failed and the Dalai Lama is forced to reconcile with China. There is an old saying, " Dobi ka Dog na ghar ka na ghat ka"
Now if we think with reality, Dalai Lama has taken a big decision to reconcile with China because China has emerged as a parallel global power equal to America. China has developed very rapidly in both economic power and military power. There is one more thing and it is very important. China has developed without prejudice in every part of the country. The Chinese have treated each race equally. If you look at the development of Tibet region and it is similar to other regions of China.

Don't u feel ashamed by making such a comment on his holiness....only if u truly knew his importance.......his holiness is known as the 14th Dalai Lama as he has reincarnated 14 times hence remembering all the materials and knowledge he had gained in all his 13 lifetimes so ig he knows better than anybody else in the world....and as for u, do u even know what had u eaten the day before gaining so much confidence on making such a comment???

To be truthful, the British by way of shenanigans extended borders into China at a time when China was weakened, distracted and in turmoil. Actually, India is sitting on wide areas of China's territory in the northern fringes and the entire northeast. South Tibet in its entirety (which we renamed Arunachal Pradesh) , for instance, belongs to China.

Before the British colonized territory now known as India, there was no India but divided into lots of small kingdoms. The Qing dynasty was weak then, the British tried but failed to occupy Tibet, the British drew the McMahon line between China & India, included 90k square meter of land historical belonged the China without discussion with the Chinese authorities, therefore China has never recognized the so-called McMahon line, and unfortunately India refused to engage in discussions with China, and therefore dispute remains.

An important reason why the Dalai Lama is making clear Tibet is part of China is because he is wising up to the imperialistic designs of India. There is an ill-concealed Indian intention to gobble up Tibet itself. Even on this Comments section, a few Indian netizens are outrageously declaring Tibet as a part of their nonsensical bharat!

I do not reject Tibetan Buddhism, but there is one point that I have never understood. Why do Tibetans unreservedly agree with a religious leader as the supreme decision maker of all affairs in Tibet? If Tibet were a country, the Dalai Lama would be the supreme power of king + president + spiritual leader, as both a human king and a god. This system seems to me even more despotic than medieval kings. The birth of the Dalai Lama is entirely based on the instructions of the old Dalai Lama, and each new Dalai Lama is a newborn, who has grasped the supreme power since birth. This means that in this society, ordinary people will be completely unable to rely on hard work to reach the top of power.

There is no ordinary people. Only slave (ordinary people) and master (lama).
