I always thought that this song should be longer, and as I didn't find any looped version on youtube I decided to made my own one Thanks to my dad who helped me
Turned on to Kraftwerk in 1980 by my brother who would club at the famous Underground night club in NYC. He bought Computer World cassette tape and I was hooked at 12 years old!!!
Lyrics: It's more fun to compute It's more fun to compute It's more fun to compute It's more fun to compute. It's more fun to compute It's more fun to compute It's more fun to compute It's more fun to compute.
these tracks were mastered to place certain tones to different size speakers within the stereo field. IMO, like quad, an air of legato over a bed of staccato reps
Computer World is probably one of the most influential records ever made. The predecessor of Deep House if you ask me. Thanks for this hypnotic extended version! PS It's more fun to compute :) PPS: You could have made it longer, with no complaint from my side.
This is one of the best records recorded by kraftwerk. It was a must that we be given and extended version. It truly doesn't get any better than this. Thanks 😊
Beautifully done and extended. I could not ever in my wildest dreams, someone else besides Kraftwerk could have pulled this off. I tried back in my time when i was spinning the records and it was impossible but with technology these days it can happen. A true work of art if I may say so. Any way of getting this on a single media lol. You have done well sirrrrrr.
Best music to drive thru anywhere at anytime. Love kraftwerk, music none stop numbers & computer world together is probably my favorite next to this version of its more fun to compute.
Both Fergie and a 80’s Hip/Hop group called: ‘Afro-Rican’ sampled the electronic keyboard riff for their songs: ‘Fergalicious’ (2006) & ‘Give It All You Got’ (1987)
Whoa 😱! Apparently "Kraftwerk" was heavily sampled in rap's infancy! I know of maybe 5 songs of the old school rap genre (unforgettable chart toppers) that is pretty much rhyming over a kraftwerk instrumental!!
Yes, how bizarre is that?? Something so ultra German as Kraftwerk, inspiring and capturing the attention of black lads from da hood in NYC. Like two things that are polar opposite on paper, but resonated anyway.
@@mrclay925 Ok now THAT is an argument for the s ages; & itll NVR be finalized. And Ive seen footage of performers "Rapping" before it was a "genre" in like the '30's & '40's It goes bk SO far.....
really well done! One of my fav. Tracks of Kraftwerk. And I had always the same feeling about it. Too short!! So Thanks for sharing . I'm a fan since almost the beginning, and Computerwelt was (and still is) their peak in groove and sound (imo). At least I can blame them for me ending up as a music producer and soundengineer since 1994 😁 So if you have some more sparetime, go ahead and extend another one! I will listen for sure! Have a happy new year, and all the best from southwest of germany.
How do you not listen to this and go deep into the beats and syncs and this... the message...where were computers back then...stone aged...and then...they began to show up...and ATARI...and others made it fun...and then THIS GROUP shows up on one Continent...and Yellow Magic Orchestra shows up in Asia...and Computers begin to come into conversations...and then... video games take off...and it became....**More Fun To Compute** *U*
@edoardo lillo. I like this version very much. So much so that I put it on one of my playlists (the one called muddying the waters), where it feels right at home between Cabaret Voltaire, Royksopp, Anne Clark, DAF and Haruomi Hosono.. It is however a bit of a nuisance that there's a 30 seconds period of silence at the end of this song, especially because it's on a playlist. Could you please be kind enough to remove most of it? Thank you very much.

As far as I'm concerned, Kraftwerk were the Godfathers of Techno!! This still sounds good some 40+ years later!

This amazing hypnotic track always puts me in a trance and deep spiritual elation. Plus early 90's rave memories.

I call Kraftwerk the Masters of Synth,
Kraftwerk always had some good electronic music that they produced.
Congrats on being acknowledged at the R&R INDUCTION CEREMONY. I was shocked.

If you remember Afro-Rican... your alright with me...Now...Give It All You Got!!!😁
My fave Kraftwerk track! So far ahead of it's time that it could have been recorded yesterday.
Yeah, they were ahead somehow but they were also very successful here in Germany (they are from Düsseldorf) and even worldwide.

Would have made a great 12inch single..Computer world still sounds ahead of its time...and so does electric cafe.
Really well done, the fact you made this with your dad is wholesome as hell btw
Yeah, thank you
Brilliant! Well done and thanks. Not least because I would have to say that Kraftwerk tracks were not well used in 'extended' versions.
ouh yeah philippe !

Very well done
Yeaaah! Great job! Love this long version! I think that computer love is too long, will you dare to make it shorter? 😁
I don't think I will, the longer the better!
Nevertheless, thank you
Great job!

There's a great new beat track based on this melody, have a look, you'll like it. Greyhouse - New Beats The House
We're all but drafting here but I'm loving it.

Really...I did not know that. All I know is that they are German and talented. The fact that they like Floyd, just makes me like them more
