well even though people will say that regine is already past her prime, statistics and science will tell otherwise. what they say will remain mere opinions. for me, regine is just starting a new era. just when people started to lose confidence on her voice and musicality, here she is proving time and again that she is the queen. minsan nga naiisip ko magagaling naman talaga yung mga bagong divas ngayon but why they can't reach at least half of what regine achieved. and then i realized because regine is still there. i mean if i'm gonna idolize someone i would certainly choose the greatest among them and that's regine.

Just my opinion and personal preference. I find Regine to be the better vocalist but Mori might just have overtaken her in the agility and ammunition (incl whistling) departments. Also, Mori evokes the more intense emotions from me. If I should rate their overall performances, I'd go for Mori, just.

Having your opinion is okay. I see a lot of Regine is not in her prime blah blah. At nearly 50 she can still outsing anyone. I guess you all are referring to that whistle. It was nice but planned, and we all know that if Regine held that note, she could have drowned it out. But that was Mori’s moment. Idk what else to say. I like them both.
yes I agree. Regine doesn't want to outshine or ousting anyone. That is not her style. She gives way to all the musical talents and promotes everyone equally - regardless of network. She is very giving and selfless. If Regine wanted to outshine any of the singers, she would. But she respects everyone. Those saying she isn't in her "prime" - what does that even mean to you guys? Yes, she isn't in her 30's... but her VOICE? gets better and better through time like Wine. How many 50 year olds can do what she does? When all these new biriteras reach Regine's age, let's see if they can do what Regine does now or accomplish all the things that Regine has accomplished in her career. People saying she is "laos" need to wake up. You are not laos when you have sold out concerts at MOA and .5 Billion Php contract from ABS. just saying.
well even though people will say that regine is already past her prime, statistics and science will tell otherwise. what they say will remain mere opinions. for me, regine is just starting a new era. just when people started to lose confidence on her voice and musicality, here she is proving time and again that she is the queen. minsan nga naiisip ko magagaling naman talaga yung mga bagong divas ngayon but why they can't reach at least half of what regine achieved. and then i realized because regine is still there. i mean if i'm gonna idolize someone i would certainly choose the greatest among them and that's regine.

Just my opinion and personal preference. I find Regine to be the better vocalist but Mori might just have overtaken her in the agility and ammunition (incl whistling) departments. Also, Mori evokes the more intense emotions from me. If I should rate their overall performances, I'd go for Mori, just.
