This is a waste of time. Just eat the mud and don't get your shirt muddy.
Boiling water won’t remove toxic chemicals from contaminated soil! Only do this if you’re 100% sure there is no contamination, like glyphosate, or petroleum distillates, or any of countless other toxic contaminants in the soil.
He's talking about survival situation and i doubt that situation like this happens on the muddy Ohio cornfields so i think its minor problem. Also you are free not to try that when you get yourself into the survival situation. Im sure death from dehydration sounds lot nicer
At least your deleted bullshit comment helped me to make decision. If i ever end up in survival situation with group of unknown people i will promptly check their youtube channel name and ask them if they are willing to survive. Smartasses will be solved right on the stand. Nobody really likes smartasses.
@@fackynaxicht8603 still good to know. Like don't do it next to an industrial area. Or down river from it either
"Forever chemicals" are in the rain now. No water is safe anymore. You guys look it up. I saw a special on it
JD you make an excellent point that many people fail to realize. All those fancy filters you can find on Amazon like the "drinking straw" the "gravity bag" ONLY filter particulates.
Even if you add a chlorine tablet AND/OR Boil the water, that only kills microbes,
Chemical contamination is still there.
Heavy metal contamination is still there.
So always be mindful of the SOURCE of your water
"First thing you'll need is a bottle of clean drinking water. Drink that instead."
This is a great channel and appreciate all the wonderful techniques and advice.
I’ve never looked at a pool of mud and been like “imma drink that shit”
Well next time you look at a puddle now you'll be saying "imma drink that shit"
Me after he filters the water:
“Boil- Boilt IT”
“BOIL IT BOILLL ITT”
I would let the muddy water settle before filtering or try a secondary filter method before using a water filter like that.
If you let it settle you’ll get fewer larger particles and your filter will likely work better
Dude is living my childhood out as an adult I love it!!
The thing is right, if your suddenly just thrown into a survival situation, its not like you'll have the resources to do this, unless your prepared for it however this is handy to know
You need clothing (which you should have), a fire (which you basically need to make anyway), and something to hold the water (probably the hardest part) in order to do this
I would be careful of the fact that pushing that much muddy water into your filter will clog it up very fast and the filter as labelled only filters your water so boil for safe measure
The filter is capable of filtering out both bacteria, parasites producer, and other microorganism besides viruses, this filter and many other like it, or effective for the whole North American continent due to the fact that there are no viruses inside of water in North America so in conclusion, this water can be used to drink water straight from the source boiling is not required
That's why he filters it with the shirt first and then the water filter- pay attention
@@mr.broski2427The key is don't go out in a wild with nothing to survive with.
Piece of trees and leaves and a tube/hollow stick. Heat all up before filtering to be extra safe. And your good 👍🏼
Hi, I'm Waterdrop! Don't let the heavy water bottle be an obstacle to your adventure!Enjoy pure and healthy water with Waterdrop~
Those filters are usually just carbon. If you had to you could make your own filter with charcoal from your fire. Don't use store-bought charcoal, you have to make your own from fresh wood, store-bought charcoal contains toxic chemicals that you shouldn't drink.
This is literally not true lol. Life straws are not Brita Filters.
@@christopherwray4788 life straws do indeed have an activated charcoal disk near the top of the straw, most of the space is a type of filter fiber
It’s fantastic! Thanks for help🙏🏻🇺🇦❤️🔥🥹
In certain survival situations you may not have access to fire or a water filter.....so do you recommend still drinking the unsanitized murky water???
There’s a flood in my place. What should I do?
First gulp: "Tastes like heaven!"
Second gulp: *Takes him to heaven*
Will this remove bacteria and any other harmful things out of do I absolutely need to boil it?
Or you can run it through gravel, charcoal and sand. It won't be perfect but at least most of the mud will be gone.
I would advise you add into your kit ,the pills that kills bacteria and worms , That is what is used in remote areas, but the taste will somewhat change.
Amazing thank you!
😮 ohh ,thats why kids eating mud...
I've had Giardia twice. How good is that filter?
I’ve used these dozens of times. Never had an issue. In fact I usually go backpacking in small groups and end up filling a camp jug for everyone. No one has ever gotten sick on, or after, our trips
Unfortunately, most straw filters use an ultra-filtration method, which uses pressure to force the water through a semi-permeable membrane, capturing microscope sediment & various microorganisms.
So it's great at removing most pathogenic bugs, but does NOT remove pesticides, VOCs, chemicals from a myriad of industries, heavy metals, etc. You need an activated charcoal filter for that. Maybe boil the water, then filter through the straw filter, then put it through the charcoal filter. Yes, it's extra work, but it's infinitely better than getting sick, especially when there's no medical help available.

I’ll drink it as is, I drank from puddles as a kid. Did me no harm. 😂
You’re a genius. No one ever thought of using a filter before. Bravo sir.
I just watched an ad... & I didn't skip it.
GJ GG WTG 👍 lol
Can you recommend or show a good Dandelion Tea, from said water?
Nice! Thank you!
VERY GOOD TIPS THANK YOU ❤️
Boy was like : - 🤢+🤮=🤑
✌🏽😇 tysm for sharing! ☮️
Going camping here soon thank you for the tips
Very good to know
- *Looks tasty* .. who agrees? Not sure I wanna be shirtless in the wilderness though, but hey.. better than death I suppose (as long as I don't freeze to death first)
👇🏽
Definitely a waste of time in a zombie apocalypse situation 😂😂😂
You can filter with a certain type of tree branch. It goes from one end to the other. There are videos on the method.
How to distill water in a survival situation:
-step 1: buy a straw off Amazon
-step 2: eat mud instead of calling for help
-step 3: eat delivery man when your straw arrived
-step 4: die in the woods by way of bear attack
Now that's quality H2O
Bobby Boucher
First sip: “that tastes good”
Second: “that tastes god”
Third sip: there is no third sip
Boiling City water with fluoride in it actually makes it more toxic
Yea, fucking sucks we can't just be left alone to live healthy lives. Both our food and water are toxic.
@@BigDees19 I have a science degree in health..... It's all over the Internet for healthy doctors that tell the truth like dr. Darren Schmidt.
I also followed several preppers . They really keep up on how to get fresh water in the city in the woods how to make filters it's good stuff.
@@OctopusH2O I use that with fulvic acid.
I drink some Spring water too like Fuji you water as it has the highest silica content which pulls out Mercury aluminum and toxins from the body .
We need all the help we can get
will the minerals disappear when i boil it?
As long as your water isn’t polluted by harmful chemicals it’s fine. Minerals don’t matter and the filter cleans all the bacteria and viruses
bag filters are such a good investment
Many of you are missing the operative context of the entire demonstration: SURVIVAL.
He's not casually showing how to filter water.
Thank you I am a survivalist and love to learn more and more about teaching my daughter survival skills.
What if you don't have waterfilter in forest if you are lost can you make a video for that ?
People who go do outdoor activities like camping, hiking etc TAKE NOTES!
Ein Wasserfilter mitten im Überleben 😂
shit was bubbly bro 😭
do you really need to use mud
Trees: you know it buddy, that mud's the *good $hit!*
Interestingly, the first step with the clothes is the first step as well to make clay for pottery!
Remember, safe is not clean and clean is not safe
Don't forget people you can also make a homemade water filter using a thick piece of cloth and you fill it up with sand dirt rocks and charcoal and then lay out another flat piece of cloth as a secondary filter screen and fill that one with nothing but crushed charcoal charcoal will save your life man they even have you eat it in the hospital when you have stomach poisoning
How do you make a container for water when you’re stranded?
No THE SHIRT
How about a charcoal water filter? Do you have a video on one?
Theodore Roosevelt taught me that
Water is good but is his cup sterile?
120 years back animals poop :-
But remember, clean mud is not safe to drink but dirty-

Thanks Bro!! Handy knowledge

can I turn the mud into cola?
Hi new bestie 💓 I love an outdoor survival hack
He finally got it out of the mud 😅
When ever possible I rubber band a coffee filter to end of water filter to prolong the life of the water filter.
That one 00.0001% bacteria:
I have learned that I should never be in a survival situation without
Extra cloth
A boiling pot
Survival gear
Taste pretty good ( takes the smallest sip in human history)
Well I’ll be dipped.
…wow! You are amazing!
Hopefully you didn’t use the same water bottle to hold the clean and dirty water🤣
Actually tastes pretty good
End of the vid o : dies💀
Did you said "taste pretty good"?
My parents are preppers and they as "homework" want me and my sister to find it
Blessings in an abundance of the faith. I salute you. 😚🕯️🙏✝️ Grace and peace be unto you and to this place. 😊❤❤❤🤍🤍🤍☀️ Will you believe and receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal savior??? I do. 💕
You should check it under the microscope after just to see, without boiling it , to see how good the filter is
“Actually taste pretty good”
ok
Fun fact you can boil it in one of those plastic bottles
How are you going to have a water filter but not clean drinking water?
“tAsTes pReTtY gOod”😂
lizardfolk method
Would this work with diarrhea?
It would be more likely to infect you with giardia, and or other living microorganisms, that cause diarrhea, which only contributes to dehydration.
Bro it is filled with amobeas basically if you need to see that you need microscope it is tiny and dont swim in pools, lakes, rivers tips for avoiding this amobea and its nickanme is brain worm lets get to the topic dont touch the bottom wear nose clips stay safe
😂😂😂 how was the taste?
There are Microorganisms like Bacteria from clean water.
I didnt know murky water would be safe with a boil. Thats good to know (not that i love drinking poo water)
Thanks for the info
