I agree. It does seem to take a ridiculous amount of time. It's actually a lot quicker than it used to be but still too long IMO. My recommendation is to run the lowest tower level/card quality/card tier that still gives 100% tower exp. That way you will go through dungeons at a decent pace and still get a nice chaos exp bonus.
