You should have used curlers after a little backcombing and last set the curls as simple this style is 😊

Of course! As this is on short hair, it may be more difficult, but with longer lengths, feel free to set a bottom guide so that everything underneath stays down for an elegant and elongated look.

I have a cousin who is a hairdresser and she uses Denman 3 Row Detangle and Tease Styling Comb (BLACK) for Wet Detangling, Backcombing and Separating Curls - D12, which you can find at amazon; www.amazon.com/dp/B002V1B80M/ref=twister_B07BRLRQ5W?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1. I hope this helps you.

This is much easier to do by just using a scrunchy hairpiece. You can put two of them for volume . It literally takes 10 minutes or less on shorter hair.
