Hey, I do it almost like you 😃, but with a scarf, because I have to fold the braid two times until I can get it into the pouch. Thank you so much for making and sharing this video, which until now did not get the attention it deserves. I see that you make the knot of the ribbon just over the tassel of the braid only. I do the knot after the half of the free braid already. Then the braid is folding itself, while I pull it through and thus I spare half of its length. You also can braid back the thin end of the braid into the previous part to cut some length - nobody will look at it later. 🤣Actually I never braid the French part already behind the forehead, but sure, this is also a good way to store braid length.
