When Firey said "I GEUSS!" if you look closely you can see he's waving his arms which is a reference to BFB. Specifically, how Pillow always says that arm waving means the person doesn't care.
I think it’s because they talked back then before, when their voices were different and they obviously had to keep it. quite a few RCs either didnt talk back then or it just sounded somewhat the same to their current (like Fanny or balloony I think)

IDFB also takes place after BFDIA 12 aswell, thats when Ruby's sisters were introduced. I'm going to make a pretty wild claim, but in BFDIA 14 I think we're going to get Pin's limbs back. In IDFB, GB is able to take Pin's red pigment and turn it into new limbs for her. So if IDFB happens after BFDIA 13, BFDIA 14 could just be IDFB 2 (I know, wild claim.)
