I liked how neutral tarzan was. Near the end (which you skipped) he was surprised by your overall "mistakes" but did assume that you were probably autopiloting/being lazzy most of the game. Normally I don't like tarzan that much (nor this type of content) but i would love to see you two having an analytic debate about jgl, the different playstyles and about some games

I know this type of content is very mentally demanding, but is 100% the best educational lol content on all plataforms. Having this level of explanation on every aspect of the game is completely mindblowing. I know that wasn't the purpose of the analisys but i've learned A LOT. Really cool content. What is great is that two high elo players see the game completely different but are both able to climb to the top rank.
Yes, agurin hitting rank 1 1980lp on euw every season and rank 1 korea while tarz hits master 50% wr korea and not even rank 1 NA anymore.
One player being better doesnt mean they have different playstyles.

Very interesting. The difference between the choices Agurin and Tarzaned make is a debate between consistency and high risk high reward. Agurin does the former with consistent pathing. Tarzaned does the latter looking to set the enemy behind as much as possible. Tarzaned has said that Agurin's consistency is a very good thing that he should adopt some of.

Starting red instead of krugs is always the right play imo. It leave you open to both play while starting krugs only benefit full clear
U can't start krugs they haven't spawned yet. If you mean raptors which spawn at 1:30 it's just better in nearly all cases, getting red later and keeping that buff for later is better when leashless.
At 10:10 where Tarzaned says he should steal 1-2 camps but Agurin is thinking way ahead. Crazy how much further ahead Agurin thinks.

For the 11m play he already said it will work, it's just pointless. You gain a 200gold swing which is actually less as you are being inefficient, less so by taking krugs.
It also means you're trading the chance to take drake on a great timing for a camp

He could, but it would be worse in a longrun. Why ? First of all - time - , as Agurin said he was about 20s ahead of Dantes, because he did another clear with items. Doing higher lvl camps without items on jarvan would be a waste of time and he had just perfect window to recall. Second is -clear pathing- why would you lvl up(clear) enemy camp, when you can reset your own. If he would skip his krugs they will still be the same lvl and dantes krugs will be lvl higher and because invading is not always possible and he's clearing top to bot It's better to do your own krugs. He could do dantes krugs and his krugs but then he would be a little bit late for drake that is worth a lot of gold and even those 5 secunds can make a huge diff. It's all about being as efficient as possible. It's the way I see It at least, but I'm not a challenger jungler.

Level one galio ult can't actually reach directly from mid lane to that bot fight, in order to be in range of tri you need to be slightly past the raptor camp. So by making sure sylas can move he ensures that galio will be at least 3-4 seconds behind. If sylas doesn't randomly waste ult then he guarantees that they will have 4 people bot while the enemy has 3.
That said, I'm not sure how big of an impact galio arriving before sylas would make given the already massive item gap,Aagurin's team could probably win 3v4 thanks to gore + galeforce vs longsword + shiv. It seems like he could've just pathed directly bot since that is the only place for Dantes to really make a play. On top of that if sylas and galio both rotated at the same time then the mid wave would most likely slowpush towards sylas so galio would lose much more from rotating.

I mean, you being efficient farming jgl is just better. Your all team is ahead, why would you take risks and giving the chance for the enemy team to gain shutdowns? The enemy is the one losing and should be the one looking for high risk high reward here to take back the game. Ig tarzan really got that all "proactive" talk in him aswell.
19:00 I genuinely feel like agurin just luck out on teammates that let him secure most of his own farm and dragon objective which led to him climbing really fast, that's why his reactive playstyle works.
He could've easily drove the poppy, deny the poppy an entire wave, get plates for rumble as you do rift, which is basically free because hec was so behind. Could even proceed to steal camps infront of hec since his top and mid are both fed and could easily follow up since even their waves were pushing toward the blue side.
It would be an invalid statement to say that he's the best jungler, he likes to waste seconds on AA-ing the camp that's already dead when the flying thingy would've taken it for him as he walks away. Not saying agurin is bad but it's just, idk, he climed high but I don't see him actually being at a pro level.
Pro level isn't the same as soloq, pro is a different game. When it comes to jungling in pro the whole game is different it's actually just stupid to compare them.

@@ClickHere4Narutowell, there are times when I climb on a server and I was hardstuck d1 but when I created a new acc out of nowhere, I peaked gm in rank playing the same things that I did on my previous accounts. It's a team game so it's hard to say that there's no such thing as luck. Ofc, if you're consistent it's easier to break through the loss streak even with bad teammates, tho the game will be harder, but teammate luck is actually a real thing.
I agree there's a bit of luck in any team game.. But Agurin plays for a bad team most of the time that's why he's so pve heavy.. Very safe, very consistent, making plays only when he HAS to.@@Qopa

Tarzaned is neither a reactive or active jungler he is a demanding teammates help type of jungler.
You clearly don't understand Tarzaneds point here. What he's saying is that if J4 is healthier, he can skip blue altogether to go top and kill Poppy. Catch-up xp is huge in league so losing out of the camp early doesn't really impact you as much as getting Rumble turbo ahead. I personally think I'd always rather do blue -> crab, as I think the top gank is a bit flippy at that point (Poppy W and still has flash makes it awkward), but I can see an argument for it.

@@Rommel12 agurin tries to play for high percantage plays. this is why he prefers to farm over kills. dont forget farm gives you less bounty than kills. agurin hit rank 1 in korea and multiply times rank 1 in euw. so his playstyle works. tarzaned never hit rank 1 in korea nor euw. (he tried).

If think there is no perfect gameplay, its a mix of good macro and player charisma, character etc. Everyone is different, if there was a pefect gameplay one player would be rank 1 every single season.
This game is too complex for perfection.
Dantes going with the whole talk about "proactive" or "reactive" jungling was all because Tarzaned was telling him: "It's because I am a proactive not low testosterone jungle" so he just ended up looking at Tarzaned like the jungle figure he should look up to.

It’s a region diff honestly. I try and play passive here in NA as jungler and it’s impossible. NA players are high ego low skill players who expect to be carried every game. I have to babysit them and let them know to back off cause I know NA junglers and will gank ANY LANE that slightly overextends. Of course they never listen and they spam ping me all game and expect me to play just as aggressive. NOPE not gonna happen. If I see no change in players mentality I’m quitting the game. League really needs a voice chat would be easier to communicate what my plan is to my teammates cause realistically jungle is usually the one who has the power to make games winnable.
In short, NA junglers think 1 step ahead, agurin thinks 3 steps ahead and changes plans from the info he gathers. Akin to a good mtg player.

I'm super neutral on this and just like to hear different takes on these things but it feels like something is lost here (in Tarzan's review as well) because there is this underlying hostility between you guys.

On your point of underlying hostility, I don't think Tarzaned has any real hostility towards Agurin (unless we think he's trying to stand up for his boy Dantes, which I think is a bit of a stretch) and I didn't get that sense with his review either, to me its just Tarzaned's usual approach of "lets see if this guy is really as good as everyone says, how many mistakes does he actually make". I do also think Agurin is being a bit defensive towards Tarzaned's criticisms and understandably so when someone is dissecting your game looking for mistakes, and I think overall he did a decent job acknowledging the mistakes Tarzaned pointed out. Definitely would love to see the two of them get in a call or something and have a direct discussion.
Tarzaned is just wrong; enemy bot lane is too fast out of base and Agurin's plan is better than denying one camp. One camp invades in general are troll.

yeah the actual review for learning purposes is over very early in this game. There's not much point going in depth on this game because its not realistic that the enemy jungler will just grief hard early.
Agurin and Dr. Zaned are at such an Elite level of SoloQ knowledge they're the smartest 2 junglers in the World for SoloQ.

I feel like auto piloting and being lazy is actually the right play when the game is won. Why waste your limited focus during a day on a game that is already won, because then you're just gonna exhaust yourself unnecessarily. Instead, it's probably better to focus early game and during a hard game to increase your winrate.
It definitely is the right play to climb better. Within this one game tho are obviously some options to give you better chances to win, but I totally agree with your thought and it probably happens automatically when playing multiple games in a row

Pointing out people mistakes while watching is very easy, playing the game and getting rank 1 isnt, which is something tazaned hasnt done in a long time. Maybe one day Agurin will review one of tarzaneds game just point out his mistakes as well, but i guess he has better things to do, unlike the zaned.
