This happens no matter what you do... It is not because of "global warming" ... I remember one year, a bad storm caused the bay and the ocean to meet on coastal highway .. And there was no shelf afterwards, just a bunch of small dunes instead

Yes and the color of the ocean is looking a little more blueish green each week.
What blocks are affected the most
Basically north of the sea wall.
A few years back it was really bad, especially at the inlet.
