You can do either really. If you want a blunt or more even bob try to braid them to the same length. If you want it lightly layered do each braid the same length no matter of the position on your head (basically feed in the same number of pieces of hair in/about the same places on each braid). I just did my hair like this, finished this morning. I did it slightly layered and I like that even though the braids are not small, between the human hair added in, the layering, and the brick parting… it’s still looks full.
