I might be wrong, but it looks like with the inlaid magnetic ring you could still use normal screw thread filters on the lens while the ring is screwed in? Whereas presumably this is not possible with the screw-in magnetic ring. Regarding the color coding on the filters, personally I find it easier if the filter just has what it is printed in text around the edge.
Nice job on the review.
Potentially you could yes. I didn't try it but yeah it's possible. That's for watching!
Will you still able to use the lens hood since the filter fit in the inner part of the lens ?
Magnetic filters are the worst 😅 I’ve broken them before while simply adjusting the VND. Popped right off. Screwing takes two seconds longer.
Reminds me of the Freewell K2 system but smaller
Well there's no VND option here and screw on filters introduce polarization problems or color shift problems because they screw on differently depending on the lens/step up ring (see the other video). Magnetic filters, VNDs that have ways around this like the freewell V2, or a matte box are the way to go.
Yep. Gave up on magnetics as bumped and lost them several times. Screw in for the win!
Just use the nisi true colour vnd swift system, its amazingly better then polar pro or freewell 😊
I disagree. I like the freewell more. The problem with the NiSi is the polarization problems when you use screw on filters
@@DustinArmstrongPro why i cant find videos about that nisi system with cpl using it? :/
@reik_nufilmuot it's tagged in the video, but this is the link to the video where I explain this ua-cam.com/video/2hlN3VkevZA/v-deo.htmlsi=dGBtk2DeSPlx1WYv
Colors like Maven filters. Maven does designs too so you can distinguish the purpose too.
Maven also has the internal for certain lenses. Would be interesting to see who is copying who - but for us, the users, it’s all good.
Haven't heard of maven. Would be interesting. But yeah oh well as users lmao
