Going on a solo date is awesome! It was awkward at first. The first time I went to see Eat Pray Love at the movies years ago! And I went on a movie date to see Unsung Hero a couple weeks ago. I enjoy dinner solo dates too😊
I wish I had access to this kind of advice in my 20s! Also, the jump scare when you backed into the door reminded me so much of myself LOL. Loving your content!

The advice/tips you gave while getting ready are helpful for people who are trying to build self worth but to clarify to what ur saying so it wouldn't be that people become more self absorbed and selfish by only caring about there own needs being met, cuz yes we know to treat others the way we want to be treated also. Become better people not only for ourselves but to serve/impact and add to others lives.

Putting ourselves first is the same as putting another person first. It’s idolatry in a different form: idolizing self. Putting God first is always the best making sure Jesus is our foundation will ensure our lives are built on a firm foundation that will last so that no matter what we won’t be shaken. God does judge us when it’s all said and done.
The whole point of this video wasn’t about self idolatry. This is for the people that need this reminder to just take care of themselves. Nothing you mentioned is new to me. God is always first in my life. Everything else comes after, but I’m not neglecting myself in my walk. I find joy with these moments I have to myself because of Him.
Taking care of yourself doesn’t mean you’re not putting God first. It’s not a black and white situation, doing one doesn’t negate the other.
